PROSPECTORSCRUSADE catches a field without much early speed, and he has been on the lead at the pace call in three of his five lifetime starts. He halves in price while making the important third start of the form cycle with improving Beyer Speed Figures on display. The blinkers come off for the first time in his career, and Prospectorscrusade may relax better while on the front in this spot. He worked a bullet five furlongs (presumably without the blinkers) two weeks ago over this surface, and should be prominent when they swing into the stretch.
GINNY'S DECISION is a 5-year-old maiden returning from a layoff, but he owns the best last Beyer Speed Figure, and he was making up late ground last time out at Delta Downs. He should be running late once again, and looms an exotics factor at the very least. BETTOCRACY hasn't taken a backward step on the Beyer scale, and it's quite possible that we've yet to see this lightly-raced colt's best race. Like the top selection, he halves in price, and owns some early speed. THE DEPUTY'S SUNNY has been away for over two years, but he was competing with much better when last seen on the racetrack. He draws a tough inside post, and may need a race or two before he reaches his best form.
SASSY RAISER hasn't been out since August, but the gray may have used that time to reach full maturity. He ran one race over this surface last year that would be good enough to win this weak heat.
