FASCINATING GIRL earned a 78 Beyer Speed Figure last year at two after breaking a half-length slowly from the rail, and angling 4-5 wide on the far turn. She hasn't moved forward from a speed figure perspective since that race, but drops in for a tag for Wednesday's finale, and switches to John Velazquez. Fascinating Girl doesn't have much early speed, but should be running late, and may have finally found her proper class level.
CONNIE THE QUEEN showed speed against better in her career debut, and should appreciate switching to the grass for Carlos Martin. Her dam is a full-sister to multiple turf winner Garve (stakes-winner of 143K), and Connie the Queen receives a positive rider switch to Eibar Coa. Expect a good showing at a price. ROSE OF GERI looms as one of the horses to beat for Billy Mott after some solid efforts at Gulfstream Park. She was buried on the rail three back, and her Beyers are consistently competitive. LITETHENIGHT earned a big number last July after receiving a perfect trip, but she's now had 16 starts to break her maiden to no avail. She figures to be part of the pace as she makes the important third start of the form cycle. SAINT CHI CHI is lightly-raced, and should improve in her first start for a tag. She was outrun off the bench last time, but goes out for a powerhouse barn, and should be tighter for this. She gets a major rider switch to Prado, and shouldn't be ignored.
