ANDERSON, Ind. - Rodney Prescott collected four wins Saturday night and is now in third place in the jockey standings with four weeks remaining in the meet.

Prescott took until the sixth race to score his first victory aboard Ticker Tap ($7.80). He followed up by sweeping the last three races on the card aboard Iron Post ($14.80) in the 9th, Idny Energy ($5.60) in the 10th, and Jacks Chance ($9.40) in the 11th. The Prescott pick three closing out the card paid $311.

Prescott moved past Cindy Noll into third with 39 wins for the meet. Jamie Theriot is second with 44, and Terry Thompson holds a clear lead with 76 wins. Thompson and Noll, who has 34 wins this season, sat out the week with seven-day suspensions that ended Monday. Daniel Coa and apprentice Martin Escobar will sit out this week's racing with similar seven-day suspensions.

* William Stiritz's 3-year-old filly, Friendly Spirit, led throughout in Monday's open allowance feature to capture her fourth straight victory at the meet. Trained by Stanley Roberts, Friendly Spirit won by six lengths. Her other wins this year were against statebreds in a nonwinners-of-two lifetime allowance plus the statebred Vincennes and Merrillville Stakes. She has bankrolled more than $80,000 at the meet.

* This Saturday is Ladies Night. The first 1,000 patrons will receive a copy of Betsy Berns's book, "The Female Fan Guide to Thoroughbred Racing." Berns will be on hand to sign copies of the book. A panel of female handicappers will be on hand including Caton Bredar of TVG Network; Debra Giglio, a popular Del Mar handicapper; and the Beulah Park twins, Katie and Jenna Felty. The night's feature is the $100,000 Hoosier Park Debutante for 2-year-old fillies.

A female jockey challenge race, featuring Greta Kuntzweiler, Zoe Cadman, Cindy Herman-Medina, Cindy Noll, Beth Butler, and others from the local colony, will be presented.
