Barbara D. Livingston Honor Code stood at Lane's End Farm, where he sired 14 stakes winners from five crops of racing age.

Eclipse Award champion Honor Code has been sold to stand at Yushun Stallion Station in Japan beginning with the 2024 breeding season.

Honor Code, by A.P. Indy, began his stud career in 2016 at Lane's End Farm in Kentucky after a racing career in which he won six of 11 starts and only missed the board once while earning more than $2.5 million. A Grade 2-winning colt who was also Grade 1-placed as a juvenile, he blossomed as an older runner in 2015. His season included Grade 1 victories in the Metropolitan Handicap and the Whitney, as well as a third behind Triple Crown winner American Pharoah in the Breeders' Cup Classic. Those efforts secured him the Eclipse Award as champion older horse for the season.

From his first five crops of racing age, including current 2-year-olds, Honor Code is the sire of 14 stakes winners. Those are led by millionaire Max Player, winner of the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup and two other graded stakes; Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby winner Honor A. P.; and Grade 1 Coaching Club American Oaks winner Maracuja. Honor A. P. now stands at Lane's End, and his first foals are yearlings of 2023. Max Player was retired this summer, with stud plans yet to be announced.

In addition to being a son of former Lane's End kingpin A.P. Indy, a breed-shaping stallion and sire of sires, Honor Code is bred in the purple on the bottom side of his page, as well. Out of the stakes-winning Storm Cat mare Serena's Cat, he is a half-brother to Grade 2 winner Noble Tune, stakes winner Declarationofpeace, and stakes-placed Lady Serena and Morse Code.

Serena's Cat, out of stakes winner Serena's Tune, is a half-sister to Group 3 winner Vocalised. The next dam is Hall of Fame racemare and blue hen Serena's Song, dam of Group 1 winner and stakes producer Sophisticat, graded stakes winners and sire Grand Reward, Harlington, and Schramsberg, stakes winner and producer Serene Melody, stakes-placed Arbitrate, and stakes producer Night and Day.
