INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Jockey Joel Rosario, Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert, and owner Ron Valenta’s La Canada Stable continued the domination of their respective categories at the Hollywood Park spring-summer meeting that ended on Sunday.Rosario won his third consecutive riding title in Southern California, and fifth title at the last six meetings.Rosario finished with 64 victories, seven more than runner-up Rafael Bejarano. Rosario, 26, and Bejarano, 29, have combined to win the riding titles at every major Southern California meeting since the Santa Anita winter-spring meeting of 2007-08.Bejarano was the leading rider at the Oak Tree at Hollywood Park meeting last fall, but Rosario won the Hollywood fall meeting and Santa Anita winter-spring meeting earlier this year.Rosario finished with 11 stakes wins.Baffert won his second consecutive training title on the circuit with 36 wins, seven more than Mike Mitchell. Baffert, 58, had eight stakes wins, including a 1-2 finish in the Hollywood Gold Cup with First Dude and Game on Dude. Earlier this year, Baffert won the training title at the Santa Anita winter-spring meeting.La Canada Stable finished the Hollywood Park meeting with 16 wins, nine more than Kaleem Shah. Earlier this year, La Canada Stable led all owners with wins at the Santa Anita winter-spring meeting.Blind Luck, the winner of the Grade 1 Vanity Handicap on June 18, was named Horse of the Meet. The champion 3-year-old filly of 2010, Blind Luck won the Delaware Handicap last weekend for her third consecutive graded stakes win.
