Hollywood Dayton: Hat tricks for Miller, Noble in Ohio Fairs Championships

Drivers Brett Miller and Dan Noble dominated the Ohio Fairs Championships for freshmen and sophomores on Sunday afternoon at Hollywood Gaming Dayton Raceway, with both of them collecting three victories in the $40,000 events.
Miller and Noble were first and second with Jeff Nisonger trainees T Degengold (1:54 2/5) and Shehitthehighnote in the 2-year-old filly pace, then Noble took the 2-year-old colt and gelding trot with Steve Carter-trained Sundancediamond (1:59 3/5), the 2-year-old colt and gelding pace with his own trainee Bargain Shopper (1:53 3/5), and the 3-year-old filly pace with Bruce Farquhar pupil Ambitious Lillian (1:55).
Homer Hall (1:53 3/5) gave trainer Carter another victory when he romped to an 11 3/4 length victory in the 3-year-old colt and gelding trot with Miller at the lines, and then "Super Brett" came right back to take the sophomore colt and gelding pace with Aeroblast (1:52 2/5), a 26-1 shot trained by Daniel Hale.
Fatimas Secret (2:00 4/5) took the 2-year-old filly trot with Kurt Sugg driving for trainer Jeff Cox, and Aunt Marilynn (1:57 3/5) was the fairs champion in the 3-year-old filly trot division. She was piloted by Aaron Merriman for trainer John Ryan Melsheimer.
