For High Dollar Woman, it's wait till next year

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – High Dollar Woman, who won a fast maiden race for 2-year-old fillies here earlier in the meet, will likely not run again until next year, trainer Tony Dutrow said Friday.
Dutrow said High Dollar Woman came out of her win on July 27 with a little inflammation in the tendon sheath of her left foreleg. While an ultrasound revealed no damage, it was recommended that High Dollar Woman be given six weeks without exercise. Though she is already through nearly five weeks of that period, Dutrow said that by the time he would be able to get her ready to run, High Dollar Woman would have missed important races like Sunday’s Spinaway and the Grade 1 Frizette on Oct. 4 at Belmont.
“If we can’t make the Spinaway and Frizette, what’s the sense in doing anything?” Dutrow said.
Dutrow said High Dollar Woman would likely be based at Oaklawn this winter and that she would make her seasonal debut early in 2015.
