Hidden Scroll to run on Derby undercard

Barbara D. Livingston Hidden Scroll is eligible for an allowance race at Churchill on Derby Day.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Hidden Scroll, the Juddmonte Farms homebred who emerged as one of the Kentucky Derby favorites earlier this year, was expected to be entered by trainer Bill Mott in a seven-furlong first-level allowance on the Derby undercard, according to Juddmonte general manager Garrett O’Rourke.
Hidden Scroll was a mere 7-1 in Pool 2 of the Derby Future Wager, which ran Feb. 8-10, after earning a 104 Beyer Speed Figure in his debut, a one-mile maiden race Jan. 26 at Gulfstream Park. The Hard Spun colt then ran fourth in the Fountain of Youth and sixth in the Florida Derby, both times as the favorite.
Entries for Derby Day were to be taken and drawn Tuesday.
