He’s Had Enough retired to Woodford Thoroughbreds

He’s Had Enough, runner-up in the 2012 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, has been retired from racing and will make his stallion debut in 2015 at Woodford Thoroughbreds in Ocala, Fla., for an advertised fee of $5,000.

The 4-year-old son of Tapit finishes his career with one win in 11 career starts for earnings of $492,910. He also placed in the Grade 2 Robert B. Lewis Stakes. Doug O’Neill trained He’s Had Enough for Reddam Racing.

Bred in Kentucky by Alexander Groves Matz, LLC, He’s Had Enough is out of the stakes-winning Dixieland Band mare Amelia, whose five winners from seven foals to race also include Grade 3 winners Raihna Da Bateria, Assateague, and Kindergarten Kid.

He’s Had Enough is from a very accomplished female family whose members include champion Althea, Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Bayern, Grade 1 winners Ali Oop and Ketoh, and many other graded/group stakes winners.

“He’s Had Enough hails from arguably the best family in the stallion book and is a drop-dead gorgeous physical,” said Matt Lyons, general manager of Woodford Thoroughbreds. “The family matriarch is [third dam] Courtly Dee, and there are 18 stallions in the first three dams, including elite international sires Arch and Green Desert.”
