Here's Hannah all the way in Vancouver Sun

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – When Here’s Hannah broke like a rocket from the inside post in the $50,000 Vancouver Sun at Hastings on Saturday, it seemed like the 6 1/2-furlong dash for fillies and mares was pretty much over. And it was, as she was never threatened on her way to an easy 2 1/2-length victory over Good Luck to You.
The 2018 horse of the year in British Columbia, Here’s Hannah paid $4.40 and posted a final time of 1:16.82 over a track rated sloppy.
With Richard Hamel aboard, Here’s Hannah was well in hand while posting interior fractions of 22:01 and 45.13 seconds. She held a clear lead on the stretch turn and, under confident handling by Hamel, easily repelled the late bid from Good Luck to You. Sailingforthesun rallied to finish third.

The Sun was Here’s Hannah’s first start since she won the $100,000 British Columbia Oaks last Sept. 8.
“She hasn’t missed a beat,” said Hamel. “She was ready.”
The B.C.-bred daughter of Rosberg is trained by John Morrison and races for B C Stables and Paul Carravetta. It was her eighth win in nine starts, with her only loss coming when Hamel wasn’t able to ride her. The $29,500 winner’s share of the purse brought her career earnings to $316,850.
