Henny Jenney wins Inaugural
RACE REPLAY IS NOT AVAILABLEHenny Jenney came from off the pace in the $100,000 Inaugural at Presque Isle Downs Sunday evening to win by three-quarters of a length.
Jockey Dylan Davis kept the 3-year-old Henny Jenney in mid-pack early and then went to work on the turn in the six-furlong event. Trained by Bill Connelly, the daughter of Henny Hughes fought to the lead in upper stretch and then held off a late charge by Cactus Kris, who finished second, 1 3/4 lengths in front of Norquay in third.
Henney Jenny returned $11.40 to win and ran the six furlongs over the Tapeta surface in 1:10.24
