Multiple Grade 1 winner Heart to Heart, who was retired from racing earlier this year, will begin his stud career at Crestwood Farm in Kentucky. Heart to Heart, trained by Brian Lynch for Terry Hamilton, earned more than $2 million while racing from ages 2 to 8. The Ontario-bred son of English Channel was the Sovereign Award champion 3-year-old of 2014 after winning a pair of graded stakes at Churchill Downs, but was at his best as an older horse. He scored his signature victories in the Grade 1 Gulfstream Park Turf and the Grade 1 Maker's 46 Mile at Keeneland, both in 2018. Overall, Heart to Heart won 11 graded stakes and placed in seven others. “Heart to Heart is the racehorse we should all aspire to breed and race,” Crestwood's Robert Keck said in a press release. “He was precocious, fast, versatile, and sound. He had miler speed, an amazing pedigree, and is a flawless physical. He has everything to be a top sire of fast and sound runners.”
