Best Bets: 4-9/ $12.00 (-$6.00)
Best Bet: DANGER STRIKE (1st)
Spot Play: KELLY’S KINDNESS (7th)
Early P4: 4 with 5 with 5 with 3,4,5,7 = $2.00
Late P4: 3,4,5,7 with 8 with 1,3,4,7,8,10 with 1,2 =$24

Race 1 – FM NW1500L4
(6) DANGER STRIKE picks up a top driver off a nice mile. The 5-year-old mare had been off six weeks and needed the start. (7) MOCKING ROBIN just missed at this level last race and will offer value. (5) SAVANAH GEORGIA has been competitive against much tougher on the year and gets sent out for a hot barn. (4) STONEBRIDGE PEARL looks capable against this group with an ideal setup.
Race 2 – FM 6000-8000 Claimer
(5) LUCKY JEWEL is part of a trio of pacers in the race for a brand new trainer. The mare has been sharp in four straight. (4) IDEAL’S NICOLE set a lifetime mark last week showing good late kick. (3) SUMMER PARTY finally draws inside and should be closer turning for home; threat. (2) BLUE GEM beat similar last week.
Race 3 – Night of Champions Series- Leg 3 ICF 3-yr-old trotting Fillies
(4) LOUZOTIC filly just needs a trouble free trip to kick clear late. (2) HEIDI HIGH is capable of beating the top choice especially with an easy early lead. (1) SKIPPYMALOU draws the best post and could be in line for a ground saving trip. (5) JOE JOES VIOLET has been improving on the fair track; use underneath.
Race 4 - Open
(5) ANNAS LUCKY STAR 5-year-old mare set the track record last week flashing her big late kick. (6) PINE DREAM owns a recent win in this class and will likely offer the best price of the contenders. (2) CALL FOR JUSTICE 7-year-old stallion has been off three weeks and could need a start over the track to be at his best. (4) MANDEVILLE gelding started off with a bang at this level before tailing off last week. A repeat of the prior efforts puts him close.
Race 5 - NW2/12500 Lifetime/ AE NW3
(5) PEPIN COOLIE six-year-old gelding has won three of four and appears to have more in the tank. (7) FOX VALLEY STRPWR is one of the faster trotters in the race but would need more to trot with the top choice. (8) MYSTICAL PETER sophomore trotter had no chance last week but should be in the mix for a piece against this group. (1) SENECA VALLEY looks to be in line for a great trip up close.
Race 6 - Night of Champions Series- Leg 3 ICF 3-yr-old trotting C&G- **$30k GTD Pick 4**
(3) LOUSRAPTOR has been more consistent than most of the field. The 3-year-old benefits from top driver and looks to offer a fair price. (7) LOUSCARDAMON could be overlooked in the wagering a bit. The sophomore trotter is just as good as any of the others. (5) LOURHIANON has yet to beat his state bred rivals but owns a decent burst of speed when timed right. (4) TRIXIE’S TURBO showed good improvement last week and is a contender with a similar effort.
Race 7 – FM NW2/10000 Lifetime
(8) KELLY’S KINDNESS circled the field last race and probably has room to improve. (9) RUSHING REBA fits in with this bunch nicely. The 3-year-old just needs a better setup to be close on the wire. (1) SLEAZY GAL 2-year-old filly faces older but has a proven pedigree and draws the rail getting sent out for a top barn. (4) FLYING SHEKEL drew off to a lifetime best last week; threat.
Race 8 - FM NW4/30000 Lifetime/11000 Claimer
(7) SUSAN SAGE had some sneaky late pace last race against slightly better. (10) MY UPTOWNE GIRL came up empty last start but is certainly fast enough to pace with this bunch. (8) COWGIRL TOO raced well last week at this level. (4) SAND AND ROCKS has just been racing evenly and is probably best used underneath.
Race 9 – FM 4000-5000 Claimer
In a really weak and inconsistent field, (2) BACKWOODS BARBIE picks up a big driver change and looks to be in line for a much easier trip this week. (1) HER ROYAL HOTTNESS scored off a perfect pocket ride last week after dropping down to this level. (8) FINLEYS FILLY mare will probably be better racing off a helmet this week; command a price. (5) WIMPLE’S DIMPLE shows a few good efforts on paper but has been dull in three straight.
