Best Bet (11 - 18 / $54.40): SKYWAY JAYLO (1st)
Spot Play: BLISSFUL PANSY (8th)
Race 1
(4) SKYWAY JAYLO faces a much tougher field but the 6-year-old can handle the hike at a price. (9) PRIDECREST takes a significant drop down in competition; threat. (8) FOX VALLEY VETO was the top driver's choice of three.
Race 2
(1) E L MISS KAIBRA should offer the better price of the contenders. The 2-year-old is a huge threat should she stay trotting. (3) TROTTING GRACE filly has tons of room to improve in her third career start; short price. (6) J COUGAR had some sneaky late trot in the debut.
Race 3
(3) KICKINITWITHKOHLER mare takes a huge drop down in class. (2) FOX VALLEY SHOUT might be one of few threats to the top choice. (8) KTL'S LUCKY STRIKE just raced evenly at this level last week; command a price.
Race 4
(2) GRAN SAN four-year-old should be much closer turning for home this week. (8) ASHLEES COCKTAIL filly has made the most money in the field on the year by far; driver's choice. (5) REAL SHEILA pacing mare has just been racing evenly but is facing softer.
Race 5
(2) GOOD DESIGN filly shows good closing ability and gets a post edge on her main competition. (7) MAUI MAMA will look to stay undefeated in three straight; short price. (3) SUNNY SASHA just missed to the morning line favorite two back; threat.
Race 6
(7) SURVIVER DI was full of late trot last week once free in the lane. (6) LOUS CREDIT REPORT three-year-old faces older but could be up to the challenge off a nice effort. (10) COFFEY TOFFY five-year-old just needs a good setup with some racing luck to hit the ticket at a price.
Race 7
(3) TRUE DETECTIVE drew off impressively last week earning a nice pay day. (6) CRUZEN CASSI has upside coming off a big effort being used multiple times. (4) MT ERIE MAFIA owns ability but needs to stay trotting.
Race 8
(9) BLISSFUL PANSY pacing mare needs to find a way into the race but has been sharp. (7) ROLL TO GLORY has also been very good in two straight; versatile. (8) DELIGHTFULLY WILD just missed at this level two back racing gamely.
Race 9
(8) SHYMASTER has consistently burned cash at this level, however the 3-year-old should offer a big price and has shown signs of turning it around. (5) DO YOU DARE filly is the horse to beat but will offer low value. (2) ROUSEY RONDA flashed some ability early in the year. The pacer picks up a big driver change in a field full of question marks.
Race 10
(10) BOOGIE ON DOWN doesn't show much gate speed which could be a problem from the far outside, however the 3-year-old has been competitive against much tougher on the year. (4) FOX VALLEY CHARLIZ has yet to win in eight starts on the year but was flying late last week. (6) RED HOT N FLASHY raced super last week just missing at a price.
Race 11
(5) CITIZEN KANE shows some good efforts over the track against better. (9) SHOTSKI lightly raced 4-year-old has been getting better with every start. (6) SHARKFIRE has some question marks coming off the scratch but is one of the faster pacers in the race when right.
