Hawthorne Harness: Sunday 7/2 Analysis

Best Bet (6 - 12 / $35.00): ANNAS LUCKY STAR (5th)
Spot Play: ALL ABOUT COWBOYS (10th)
Race 1
In a wide-open field of two-year-old trotters, (8) LEGAL ENTRY showed two moves last week and has room to improve. (2) VIC'S PIZZA put in a really strong qualifier drawing off late; big chance. (1) ILLINIMIGHT also put in a solid qualifier and gets the best starting post.
Race 2
(2) SUNNY SASHA freshman trotting filly stayed flat winning the qualifier. If she minds her manners she can threaten. (5) GOOD DESIGN has been very professional both times on the track; short price. (1) MAUI MAMA picks up the top driver off a winning qualifier.
Race 3
(1) TROTTING GRACE will offer a nice price and gets sent out first start for proven connections. (4) E L MISS KAIBRA probably has the most ability but did make a miscue last race. (6) LOUS SILVER STAR has lots of room to improve second start out.
Race 4
(1) UNCLE SI has been much improved in three straight. (2) SKYWAY FIREBALL looks to be in line for a nice ground-saving trip up close. (4) BIGGER N BETTER four-year-old stallion owns a big late kick but needs to be closer turning for home.
Race 5
(10) ANNAS LUCKY STAR filly is very talented and getting better with every start. (1) DAISY LOU DUKE gets a big post edge on the favorite and could be one of few threats in the race. (5) LOUS CREDIT REPORT filly can be a player against this group with a smooth trip.
Race 6
(3) FABULOUS FIVE filly doesn't look the best on paper but has been competitive against much tougher on the year. (7) BLISSFUL PANSY was the drivers choice coming off a big effort. (6) ARE YOU TERRY will need more to make it two straight but did show a big rally last week from off the pace.
Race 7
In a wide open and inconsistent field full of question marks, (7) ARTS-ROCKSTAR is capable with a good setup and some racing luck. (1) FOX VALLEY PIPA is probably the fastest pacer in the race but has been dreadful in two straight. (8) SHEZ A SWIFT mare is capable of getting a good spot early; threat.
Race 8
(6) LOUSCIPHER sophomore trotter was unleashed last week exploding late. If the gelding minds his manners he will be very tough to beat. (8) TRIXIE'S JETHRO has yet to miss the board in five efforts on the year. (7) BANDS HOUDINI has some question marks coming off the scratch but is having an excellent start to the year.
Race 9
(3) DAVID'S DRAW set a lifetime mark last week impressively. (6) SHOTSKI lightly raced pacer has won two straight. The 4-year-old has lots of upside but is still racing greenly. (9) RED RED REDNECK has really stepped his game up over the last month or so; fires early.
Race 10
(5) ALL ABOUT COWBOYS should be much sharper second start back off the layoff. (2) I COULD CARE LESS five-year-old trotter is on a big time roll and is the horse to beat; short price. (7) PRIDECREST takes a significant drop in class but has just been racing evenly.
