(6) MOCKING ROBIN pacing mare is just now back in racing shape and takes a significant drop in class. (7) LOOK KIMBO had some sneaky late pace last week at this level. (8) SUMMER PARTY has hit the board in five straight but probably needs more against this group. (1) MY KIND OF DANCE has just been racing evenly; use underneath.
Race 2 – Night of Champions Series- Leg 2 ICF 2-yr-old trotting Fillies
(3) CELONE HALL has flashed good ability and just needs to stay trotting for a big piece. (1) LOUS ABIGAIL filly draws the best post and will look to remain perfect in her young career. (2) FOX VALLEY LUSH is one of few in the race that doesn’t show a break on paper. (6) LOUS FLASHY DANCER picks up a positive driver change and shows gate speed.
Race 3 – Night of Champions Series- Leg 2 ICF 2-yr-old trotting Fillies
(1) BEE SEE freshman filly trotter owns a big burst of speed when she stays trotting. (3) LAUREN HALL just missed against better last week. (4) REALLY RAILEE has room to improve against a softer bunch this week. (2) OLYMPIC HOPEFUL picks up the top driver and should be in line for a ground-saving trip up close.
Race 4 - Open
(5) ANNAS LUCKY STAR should be much closer turning for home this week. (7) GOT THE GROOVE comes into the race sharp having hit the board in three straight against better. (6) MANDEVILLE could be tough to catch with an easy early lead; threat. (4) PINE DREAM just missed setting the track record last start and will look to make it two straight.
Race 5 - Night of Champions Series- Leg 2 ICF 2-yr-old trotting Colts
(7) FOX VALLEY KOBE trotted a nice mile last out against a tougher group. (3) CROOKED CREEK two-year-old colt put in a good qualifier last week and will offer a big price. (1) VALORS LEGACY draws the best post in a field full of question marks. (4) FOX VALLEY BRITON finished a solid second last week against similar.
Race 6 - Night of Champions Series- Leg 2 ICF 2-yr-old trotting Colts
(7) FOX VALLEY QUEST has been untouched in three career efforts; short price. (5) FITCHEY FOR FUN might be able to trot with the top choice and has also yet to be challenged. (4) ON HIGHER GROUND has shown good improvement in every start on the year. (8) DESERT SHEIK went a huge effort last week drawing off impressively.
Race 7 – FM NW3/15000 Lifetime/AE NW4/40000 Lifetime- $30k GTD Pick 4
(1) PRETTY IRIS just missed against better last week. (5) FROM ME TO YOU pacer has blossomed in her last two and will offer good value. (7) FOX VALLEY LOLO drops down against weaker; threat. (3) WINTER GRAM beat softer last week but needs more.
Race 8 - NW2/10000 Lifetime
(1) FOX VALLEY LIL KIM draws the best post in a weak and inconsistent field. (10) FOOLISHLITTLEGIRL morning-line favorite has a tough task starting from the far outside. (8) ASHLEE’S JOY has yet to miss the board in all nine starts on the year. (3) FLIPFLOPPINFLOSSIE well bred filly has ability but shows breaking issues.
Race 9 - NW3/15000 Lifetime/10000 Claimer
(9) SUSAN SAGE pacing mare will be tough to catch with an easy early lead. (10) FRESH EYES is probably the horse to beat but needs to find a way into the race. (8) SAND AND ROCKS has shown good closing ability and will offer a big price. (1) NEDDY NUMBER THREE should be much closer turning for home this week.
Race 10 - FM NW1500L4/AE 6000 Claimer
(5) VIRGIN EYES will look to drop and pop down in class picking up the top driver. (7) MODEL mare is very inconsistent from week to week but a good effort puts her on the ticket. (1) PRINCESS OSHIE draws the best post dropping in class. (4) SAN ANTONIO ROSE will offer a big price and could be in line for a decent trip up close.
