Hawthorne Harness: Sunday 6/4 Analysis

Best Bet (4 - 6 / $16.00): NASHVILLE HOLIDAY (2nd)
Spot Play: BEATRICE (9th)
Race 1
(2) MACIE RAE owns a class edge on the field; short price. (3) LET’S BE HONEST needed the start over the track last out and should be in line for a nice ground saving trip up close. (5) SHEZ SO SASSY picks up the top driver and had some sneaky late trot last week.
Race 2
(7) NASHVILLE HOLIDAY is a well-bred trotter that looks to be coming on strong and was super last week trotting up a storm late. (4) I COULD CARE LESS faces tougher but looks to make it three straight. (5) MUSCALE is a smooth trip away from hitting the ticket.
Race 3
(5) TOPVILLE AVATAR will offer a good price in a wide open race. The trotter loves this track and is capable of getting on a roll. (4) CHARLES VII has been facing much tougher out east. The trotter might need a start over the track but is probably the horse to beat. (3) M T UR POCKETS is very consistent from week to week; threat.
Race 4
(4) CASH ON DELIVERY gets sent out for a capable barn in a field full of question marks. (2) DRINK AT LAST CALL swooped the field last week but will need more to beat this bunch. (1) KY LUCKY looks to offer a very short price and hasn’t been right for quite some time.
Race 5
(5) SILVERHILL STORM just missed last week from an almost impossible spot. (6) SHARKFIRE nice looking 3-year-old has a good pedigree and might have just figured out how to race. (3) RED RED REDNECK was impressive last out drawing off against weaker.
Race 6
(3) TRIXIE’S JETHRO has been facing much tougher in non winners. The 3-year-old trotter is versatile and might be a step ahead of this bunch at this point in the season. (6) BANDS HOUDINI will look to make it three straight but is stepping up in competition. (4) TOTALLY PAZZAZZED is a lightly raced trotter that is just now back in racing shape and has room to improve.
Race 7
(2) FOX VALLEY VETO just looks a cut above against this group; short price. (7) SILVERHILL VOLO might be one of few in the race that could upset at a price. (8) WITHOUT A CLUE should be much better with a start over the track.
Race 8
(1) BUCKLEGIRL BOBETTE will look to make it two straight at this level and three straight overall. (7) LEENAH PEARL has just been racing evenly but takes a slight drop in competition. (5) LK’S NANCY LEE is more talented than what she shows. This could be her week with a good setup.
Race 9
In a really tough race to gauge, (4) BEATRICE could be the sleeper in the race getting sent out second start off the layoff for proven connections. The trotter will offer a big price and showed decent closing ability. (9) DAISY LOU DUKE looks to be improving and faces softer. (2) SIS’S ELLIE MAE has won two of three against similar.
Race 10
(5) DUMAS GRAM had a very tough trip last week on and off track. The 5-year-old gets a perfect starting post with the top driver. (2) ALL IN NO OUT rarely wins but has been pacing some decent miles up in class. (6) SAGEBRUSH SID also takes a significant drop in class; threat.
Race 11
(6) DOYOUDESIREMYHEART looks to own a big brush when she minds her manners. (2) RAW DIAMOND scored a maiden breaking win last out wire to wire. The well-bred filly probably has more in the tank coming off two exceptional efforts. (3) A REAL DOOZIE should be in line for a ground saving trip up close.
