Race 1 - Two Year Old Fillies
(7) GRACE ROCKS freshman filly makes her debut off an eye opening qualifier. (8) AIN’T NO SECRET filly looks like she has ability and stayed flat in the recent qualifier. (4) TRENDY H Indiana bred filly has upside making her second career start off a solid first effort. (6) YOU LOOK GOOD was the driver’s choice of three and flashed a good late burst in the qualifier.
Race 2 - ICF Two Year Old Fillies-The Violet
(5) FOX VALLEY EXTACY raced gamely in the qualifier after making a break in the debut. The 2-year-old filly picks up a huge driver change and looks like a threat to the heavy favorite. (1) LOUS ABIGAIL had lots more left in the tank last week; short price. (3) LAUREN HALL adds trotting hopples and flashed good early speed before the miscue. (2) OLYMPIC HOPEFUL has room to improve in her second career start.
Race 3 - ICF Two Year Old C&G-The Cardinal
(4) U S PATRIOT was much improved in the recent qualifier and will offer a big price. (1) FITCHEY FOR FUN looks better on paper than this bunch but anything can happen with 2-year-old trotters. (2) LOUSINTUIT picks up a positive driver change and should be in line for a smoother trip this week. (5) FOX VALLEY BRITON just raced evenly last week; needs more.
Race 4 - ICF Two Year Old Fillies-The Violet
(3) BEE SEE Two-year-old filly will offer much better value this time out and is the horse to beat if she minds her manners. (2) LOUS FLASHY DANCER freshman filly has won five of six and picks up a big driver change. (1) CELONE HALL won in her debut despite breaking early; threat. (6) FOX VALLEY LUSH filly gets sent out for a capable barn and has lots of room to improve in her second career start.
Race 5 - ICF Two Year Old C&G-The Cardinal
(3) FOX VALLEY QUEST has made it look very easy in two straight. (1) ON HIGHER GROUND shows good improvement in every effort on the year. The 2-year-old gelding should be in line for a great ground saving trip up close. (7) FOX VALLEY KOBE has flashed good early talent and will offer a huge price. (2) LOUS PAISANO dug in gamely in the recent qualifier; use underneath.
Race 6 - Open
(8) ANNAS LUCKY STAR trotting mare will be on the move much earlier this week. The 5-year-old is a cut above this group with a trouble free trip. (9) MANDEVILLE beat this bunch off a month layoff last out; threat. (7) JUSTLIKEHIM raced competitively at this level last week. (6) KRISTY’SGINGERGAL has been sharp for the new barn.
Race 7 - NW1 Lifetime
In a wide open race, 4-year-old trotting mare (6) TOPVILLE AMBERWAVE just needs to ration her speed early for a chance to go wire to wire. (10) PEPIN COOLIE six-year-old gelding will offer a huge price and has lots of room to move forward in his second career start. (8) STORM HUNTER needs to stay trotting but fits in with this group. (5) REIGNING CASSIS gets sent out for a low percentage pilot; use caution.
Race 8 - FM NW4 (ICF 5)/30000 Lifetime (ICF 37500)/ 11000 Claimer- $30k GTD Pick 4
(6) CAMERA QUEEN had tons of late pace last time out despite an early miscue. (2) MY UPTOWNE GIRL will look to make it three straight wins against similar. (4) RAZZLEME DAZZLEME doesn’t win often but has been knocking on the door against this group. (7) SAND AND ROCKS raced well first start over the oval last week; threat.
Race 9 - FM NW3 (ICF 4)/15000 Lifetime (ICF 18750)/10000 Claimer
(2) SUSAN SAGE pacing mare is on a roll and will look to make it two straight for new connections and three straight overall. (5) FOX VALLEY ZOLA should be much closer turning for home this week. (1) THERESAREASON was close last week against similar. (6) SYRNA filly pacer broke her maiden racing gamely last out; threat.
Race 10 - FM NW2 (ICF 3)/10000 Lifetime (ICF 125000)
(10) BRIENNE THE BEAUTY raced well last week against much tougher. (7) FOOLISHLITTLEGIRL looks ready for an improved effort against softer. (1) WINTER GRAM has just been racing evenly but should benefit from a ground saving trip starting from the rail. (2) LAUGH OUT LOUD has shown recent signs of figuring it out. The pacing mare will offer a huge price and isn’t that far off the others in ability.
Race 11- NW4 (ICF 5)/40000 Lifetime (ICF 51250)
(2) FRESH EYES impeccably bred filly might offer value and looks loaded with ability. (7) SKEETER MACHINE pacing mare kicked clear against weaker last week. The 4-year-old looks primed for a better effort third start back off the layoff. (5) LILLY VON SHTUPP has yet to put it all together but faces a much softer group this week; big chance. (3) VALAR MORGHULIS might be better trying to race from off the pace this week.
