Race 1
(2) LOUSRAPTOR dominated with the top driver last start drawing off impressively. (4) BIG GARCIA VEGA finally woke up last week and now adds second-time Lasix. (5) FRONTIER MANARD owns ability and has hit the board in four of five on the year.
Race 2
(4) MYKONOS finds a suspect bunch second start back off the bench. (6) YOUMAKEMYHEARTSING raced well against better three back. (5) SPECIAL has room to improve with a smoother trip this week against softer.
Race 3
(5) ANNAS LUCKY STAR circled the field last race from far back. The 5-year-old trotting mare will need a better setup but can certainly make it two straight. (6) GLOIRE DREAM eight-year-old gelding is trotting up a storm and is probably ready for a big effort. (4) PINE DREAM looked home free last week before getting picked off late; fires early.
Race 4
(5) LOURHIANON has really blossomed as a 3-year-old; driver’s choice. (6) LOUSCARDAMON was sharp last week drawing off after being last early. (2) TRIXIE’S TURBO gelding is one of three threats in the race if he stays trotting.
Race 5
(1) FRONTIER LOLA mare is the horse to beat with a trouble-free trip. (6) PHILLY WELLNESS well-bred filly had to need her last start coming off a scratch. The 3-year-old is facing a much softer bunch this week. (8) JJ BRENLIN will offer a big price and might be able to pick up a piece of the pie in the right scenario.
Race 6
(9) SUSAN SAGE pacing mare should be sharper second start off the layoff. She will offer a big price and flashed gate speed last week. (10) PRETTY IRIS is probably the horse to beat despite the tough starting post. (7) ASHLEE’S JOY has hit the board in eight straight dating back to last season.
Race 7
(8) FEARLESS raced well in both qualifiers. The filly pacer gets a provisional low percentage pilot but that could boost the price if good enough. (1) FLYING SHEKEL has lots of room to improve second start back off a really nice first effort. (2) MODEL NUMBER FIVE showed good late kick last week against similar.
Race 8
(9) SO SO DELIGHTFUL has been knocking heads with much tougher at Hoosier and gets sent out for a capable barn. (3) MAJOR ATTRIBUTE paced a personal best last week just missing at this level. (1) SALVATORE just needs fast early fractions for a chance to sweep past late.
Race 9
(6) LOUZOTIC was tremendous last week dominating this same group. (7) PUDDIN CHEEKS was used very hard last start before fading late. The filly will offer a much better price this week and owns ability. (10) HEIDI HIGH filly is not very big but she can trot really fast; fires early.
Race 10
(3) PRINCESS OSHIE takes a huge drop in class against weaker. (9) BACKWOODS BARBIE had tons of late pace last week with no room. The pacing mare should offer good value and can hit the ticket with a decent setup. (8) FOX VALLEY SIERRA has room to improve second start back off the long layoff.
Race 11
(10) JAZZIE BABE went a huge last three-quarters of a mile last week doing it very easily. (4) NEDDY NUMBER THREE has shown good improvement in both starts on the year. (6) FOX VALLEY MINKA should have been a little stronger on the end of it last week after getting slow early fractions. The 3-year-old filly would need much more to tangle with the top choice.
