Race 1
(7) INTUITIVE WRITER beat a better bunch last week racing gamely. (2) ONE MORE TRICK has yet to win in nine starts on the year and the top driver opted elsewhere; command a price. (5) SPORTS CREEK has just been racing evenly but does get sent out for a capable barn; driver's choice.
Race 2
(6) NORTHERN ANGLE four-year-old has been racing gamely and should offer a nice price in an inconsistent field. (5) POP SPEED will likely be a heavy favorite and has had trouble finishing his miles at this track. (2) BRYSEN made a miscue last week but is a threat with a good setup.
Race 3
(6) PICKY PICKY VALOR four-year-old comes into the race razor sharp and will be looking for five straight wins. (4) PRIMED N POWERFUL was ultra impressive winning from an impossible spot last week. (5) ANNAS LUCKY STAR had no excuse last week getting picked off late; command a price.
Race 4
(4) MODEL well bred filly faces much weaker and will be tough to beat with a smooth trip. (5) JEANA ROSE should be primed for a good effort third start back off the layoff. (8) JB'S SHOOTING STAR finished a solid second to a nice opponent last week.
Race 5
In a really weak field, (7) DON'T FORGET has hit the board in two straight against similar. (1) FRONTIER RED filly gets the best starting post and looks to be in line for an ideal trip up close. (6) GEE GEG G flashed some gate speed last week and picks up a positive driver change.
Race 6
(1) HARD HEADED WOMEN takes a significant drop in class with the best post. (4) BLUE GEM has just been racing evenly but the effort three back would beat this field. (5) LACARMELILIANA mare just missed against better two back.
Race 7
(9) AL'S BRIEFS nice-looking pacer has been improving with every start; big chance. (5) YOUGOTITFIGUREDOUT is just now back in racing shape and picks up a positive driver change. (10) FOX VALLEY HIJINX pacing gelding has his work cut out for him from the far outside.
Race 8
(8) BELLE OF THE BEACH well bred mare has flashed good ability and will offer a huge price. (5) LADY DAY filly scored an easy win against weaker off the layoff. The 3-year-old should have more in the tank this week. (2) FOX VALLEY MAYA should be closer turning for home this week.
Race 9
(7) BIG TYME SHOOTER mare gets sent out for a capable barn against a weak and inconsistent field. (5) ISLAND CAMPAIGN just missed last week against similar. (10) DRAGON JEWEL well bred 4-year-old mare needs to find a way into the race for a shot at hitting the ticket; use underneath.
