Race 6 - $20,000 Guaranteed Pick-4 Pool

Best Bet (0-0 / $0.00): VALAR MORGHULIS (4th)

Spot Play: SIR MAMMO (6th)

Race 1

(4) BACK DOOR MAN is a lightly raced gelding that showed excellent improvement last out at Hoosier coming from far back to break his maiden. (6) SUNNY SASHA was good off the layoff at Springfield. (2) CINDER NORMA looks to be in line for a nice ground-saving trip against softer.

Race 2

(5) MEADOWBROOK GLIDER should be able to handle this bunch if ready off the layoff. (1) SHORTIE JOE takes a huge drop in competition. The well-bred 4-year-old draws the best post in a field full of question marks. (2) MOONSHINE RUNNER should be able to threaten with a similar effort to her last start.

Race 3

(1) FOX VALLEY MINKA adds second time Lasix getting sent out for top connections. (3) FOX VALLEY LIL KIM has room to improve second start back off the long layoff. (5) PRETTY IRIS needs a good setup but fits in with this bunch.

Race 4

(4) VALAR MORGHULIS showed a big motor last year at 2 and was super in the qualifier at Hoosier. (5) FOX VALLEY TORRID, last year's 2-year-old champ, looks ready to pick back up where she left off. (3) LILLY VON SHTUPP gets sent out for a proven barn known for having them ready off a layoff.

Race 5

(7) LOUS SILVER STAR loves to win and raced gamely in her first start off the layoff. (1) FOX VALLEY STRPWR draws the best post picking up a huge driver change. (4) QUEEN KONG could be the sleeper in the race at a price. The 5-year-old mare is the only horse in the race that has made more than one start on the year.

Race 6

(5) SIR MAMMO was sharp in victory last week using a wicked brush to make the lead before drawing off. The 7-year-old pacer might offer the best price of the contenders. (6) RISING TO THE TOP has been facing much tougher in Ohio; threat. (1) NORTHERN ANGLE takes a significant drop in class.

Race 7

(6) WAYMORE scored a nice win two back against similar. (7) HART TO HEART is a 4-year-old gelding that just missed against a good horse in his first effort off a long layoff. (3) RYAN OUT LOUD adds first time Lasix facing a field full of question marks.

Race 8

(1) KYLES SECRET has been camera shy in the past but owns some back class on this; short price. (3) BEAMER N BUD is just now back in racing shape and is one of few threats in the race. (4) SAN ANTONIO ROSE is very fast when ready but looks to need a start or two.

Race 9

(1) MYKINDANIGHT adds second-time Lasix while drawing the rail against weaker. (3) TEN HIGH might have had more in the tank last week, pacing right through the wire in the qualifier. (5) FOX VALLEY LINCOLN is 0 for 24 lifetime but the qualifier at Hoosier puts him right there with this group.
