Best Bet (2 - 4 / $6.20): TOPVILLE AVATAR (2nd)
Spot Play: BOOGIE ON DOWN (4th)
Race 1
(3) DALI DELIGHT needed the start last week and will offer the better price of the contenders. (2) LAKESIDE MS QUEEN will look to sweep all the legs and the final; short price. (1) IYQ BNU has just been racing evenly; use underneath.
Race 2
(3) TOPVILLE AVATAR is just now cranked and ready for the year; big chance. (4) ANTS INER PANTS hasn't won a whole lot in the last few years but is definitely a contender. (7) BIG EXPENSE will likely be firing with a purpose early.
Race 3
(2) GETTIN ROWDY just missed last week racing very gamely. (4) MR MCDREAMY burned cash as the heavy favorite last start but has a ton of upside. (5) HEARTLAND REVENUE was used twice last week earning a hard fought victory.
Race 4
(2) BOOGIE ON DOWN had tons of sneaky late pace last week against a nice opponent. (1) MORNINGSTAR SAM gets the best post off a fairly sharp effort despite the tough trip. (5) FOX VALLEY CHARLIZ just missed against similar last week.
Race 5
(2) DOYOUDESIREMYHEART filly looks to have some ability coming off a big win. (4) FOX VALLEY DANDY drops down a notch and should be in line for a nice ground saving trip. (7) DANDY'S DUDUDIDUDU was very good last out from a tough spot.
Race 6
(9) LK'S NANCY LEE the pacing mare's best effort has yet to come. (2) BUCKLEGIRL BOBETTE was an easy winner last out against a suspect bunch. The 4-year-old is the horse to beat but will offer little value. (1) SAN ANTONIO ROSE filly flashed some ability as a 2-year-old and was sharp in her sophomore debut.
Race 7
(9) FINEWINEANDCAVIAR picks up a huge driver change off some nice efforts. (6) ROCK HOLLYWOOD is capable with a good setup. (8) HARD TO ROCK THIS has just been racing evenly but finds a soft bunch.
Race 8
(3) MACIE RAE should be ready for a better effort third start back against weaker. (1) KY LUCKY gelding has much more ability when ready. (7) FOX VALLEY SHOUT came up empty last week but has been competitive against better on the year.
Race 9
(2) JUST PLAIN CRAZY looks to offer a big price facing weaker. (6) LETS GO CLOLOR has room to improve as a 3-year-old; drivers choice. (3) HANNAHS LIL PRAYER could be overlooked a touch off a decent second place finish.
Race 10
(5) TRIXIE'S JETHRO will be heard from early this week with the improved post. (6) LOUSCIPHER was given a perfect trip last out drawing off impressively. (7) NASHVILLE HOLIDAY could need a start over the track after shipping in from out east. The 4-year-old has a nice pedigree and shows some good efforts against better.
Race 11
In a tough race to gauge, (2) LOUGAZI needed the start off the layoff and will offer a big price in a field full of question marks. (1) FOX VALLEY ELENA looks to be in line for a nice ground saving trip up close. (6) PHOTO CASH the top driver opted elsewhere but was close last week.
