Race 1
(7) HOPE HOTSPUR has come back off the layoff sharp. The pacing mare will offer a nice price in an evenly matched race. (8) BLUE GEM beat a better bunch last week but has been inconsistent on the year. (1) SKYWAY DUSTY should be in line for a nice ground-saving trip up close.
Race 2
(7) DUNE ON TIME has really come on strong in two straight. (5) DO YOU DARE is one of few threats in the race. (3) REAL SHEILA picks up a huge driver change but appears to need more on paper.
Race 3
(2) ELITE AWARDS will likely look to be much more involved early this week. (4) WANT ME drops back in for the tag this week; threat. (5) KC RAMBUCTIOUS BOY beat this same group last week; short price.
Race 4
(3) LUCKY CRUSADER was an easy winner last race and owns back class on the field. (4) LILYS REAL BOY was a solid second to the top choice last week. (5) TWIN B SPORTSMAN was a game winner at this level last out but would need much more to beat the favorite.
Race 5
(7) MYSTICAL NECTAR has had a disappointing meet but that could change this week. (5) BUCKLEGIRL BOBETTE pacing mare is just now back in racing shape and will be looking for an early lead. (8) ROCKING KATIE circled the field last week impressively; short price.
Race 6
(6) AIMO HANOVER is just now starting to get rolling and might be ready for a breakout mile. (3) CAPTAIN RHETT three-year-old needed the start over the track last week and should have more in the tank this week. (2) FOX VALLEY REGGIE was no match for the top choice last out; use underneath.
Race 7
(3) FREE RANGE CHIKIN was trotting up a storm late last week; big chance. (6) OTIS-M HAS has been a major player at this level; short price. (5) SOUTHERN APPEAL hasn't won in some time but was the driver's choice off a decent effort.
Race 8
(1) DUMAS GRAM faces a much softer group this week with the best starting post. (3) SKYWAY FIREBALL has been competitive against better on the year. (2) ET TU BRUTE was in too tough last start but has been improving each week.
