(7) CHIEF ALTAWICK three-year-old has lots of room for improvement second start over the track. (1) FOX VALLEY HOSS looks to be in line for a great trip up close. (8) DUMAS GRAM hasn't come back sharp off the layoff; command a price.
Race 2
(1) OTIS-M faces weaker getting sent out for a capable barn. (4) WHATA CANTABULOUS adds first-time lasix second start back off a long layoff. (6) SPIRIT O'MAR might have the most upside of the bunch but looks to need another start.
Race 3
(5) HER ROYAL HOTTNESS scored a small upset last week racing gamely. (1) SKYWAY DUSTY had some sneaky late pace last out against this same bunch. (4) FOX VALLEY BAILEY pacing mare just missed to the top choice last start.
Race 4
In a very tough race to handicap, (5) QUEEN KONG made up a ton of ground once free in the lane last out. (4) WRIGLEYVILLE lightly raced 3-year-old put in a big effort first start back off the layoff. (3) JUST PLAIN CRAZY gets sent out for a low percentage pilot; use underneath.
Race 5
(6) JEWELS HALL mare always seems on the verge of taking a step forward. This could be the week she shows some consistency. (4) DO YOU DARE has room to improve second start back. (2) SHES GORGEOUS LADY was a two-move winner last week against similar.
Race 6
(6) ALL ABOUT COWBOYS looks primed for a good effort third start back and will offer the better price of the contenders. (7) BANKER VOLO well bred stallion impressed from a tough post last week. This week looks easier on paper. (3) MADEWELL HANOVER has yet to fire for capable connections.
Race 7
(10) GETOUTTHEDIAMONDS might be overbet from the far outside but the 4-year-old is much the best if she handles the turns. (3) FOX VALLEY CATWALK flashed a decent burst two back and now adds second-time lasix. (8) OH JOSEPHINE mare might be one of few threats in the race despite being 0 for a very long time.
Race 8
(2) WANT ME was competitive against much better last year and has been very close in two straight. (8) MASERATI SEELSTER seven-year-old is the horse to beat on paper; short price. (1) ELECTRIC ALBERT gets the best post off an easy win.
Race 9
(7) WILDCAT BOBBY rarely wins but finds a suspect field full of question marks; big chance. (4) VITAL TERROR could be rounding into form third start back off the layoff. (10) DOUBLE STITCHED needs to find a way into the race to threaten.
Race 10
(8) CUINTHEPURPLERAIN four-year-old was impressive in his maiden breaking win. (4) ROAD RAGE looks to be competitive with this group; fires early. (10) SPECIAL SAUCE scored a win in the first start of his sophomore campaign and appears to have some upside.
