Best Bet (19 - 36 / $93.40): THE NEW AMERICANA (4th)
Spot Play: PICKY PICKY VALOR (6th)
Race 1
(4) GRANITE has been facing much tougher in Indiana; big chance. (5) TOOKADIVEOFFDIPPER three-year-old faces older but is fast enough to beat this group. (3) A BETTORS RISK four-year-old pacer comes into the race sharp for capable connections.
Race 2
(7) TRUE DETECTIVE will need to stay trotting but is the horse to beat. (5) CRUZEN CASSI has hit the board in all but two starts on the year. (1) ILLINIMIGHT pulled a big upset last week and now draws the best post for the final.
Race 3
(4) MAUI MAMA filly should be primed for a big effort this week; fires early. (7) LOUS SILVER STAR has some question marks coming off the scratch but can hit the ticket underneath. (2) FOX VALLEY UNLEASH raced huge last week just missing to the top choice.
Race 4
(1) THE NEW AMERICANA filly drew the best post and was razor sharp last week in the prep. (5) ALLBEASTNOBEAUTY looks to be getting better at the right time. (9) FOX VALLEY JAZZY will look to make it four straight but could have a tough time from the outside; fires early.
Race 5
(1) LOUS CREDIT REPORT looks to be in line for a great trip behind the heavy favorite. (5) ANNAS LUCKY STAR filly could be vulnerable if she gets stung early; short price. (4) DAISY LOU DUKE filly has been close to pulling the upset but needs some racing luck.
Race 6
(10) PICKY PICKY VALOR might not be bothered by the far outside post; fires early. (7) LOUSCIPHER is clearly the horse to beat but will have more ground to cover this week. (4) BANDS HOUDINI looks to be in line for an excellent trip up close.
Race 7
(8) TRICKY NICK dominated this same group last week and needed the start over the track. (4) ANTS INER PANTS was no match for the top choice but can still trot a good mile with a trouble free trip. (3) PRIMED N POWERFUL has lacked stamina late in most of his recent miles; use underneath.
Race 8
(1) FOX VALLEY HIJINX 2-year-old has a tough task ahead facing an undefeated rival, however the pacer just might be good enough. (9) FOX VALLEY GEMINI didn't draw the best but will look to make it nine for nine on the year; short price. (4) HART TO HEART should be in the mix for a big piece of the pie.
Race 9
(5) EVERGREEN ELITE was an easy winner last week once the pacer shook free. (1) MYSTICAL WALTER should be in line for a much easier trip this week from the rail. (2) GIBBS nine-year-old raced huge last week just missing. Any effort close to that puts him on the ticket at another big price.
Race 10
(5) SLZBURGERSLZBURGER raced huge last out first start for a new trainer. The pacer will be tough to beat with a similar type of mile. (1) FOX VALLEY INFERNO gets the best post for a hot barn. (2) MISSISSIPPI RABBIT has been on the cusp of a breakout mile all year; threat.
Race 11
(2) SAN ANTONIO ROSE filly flashed potential as a 2-year-old but never progressed until the last two weeks. The 3-year-old filly will look to make it three straight wire to wire wins. (1) BOOGIE ON DOWN could get the best trip of all behind the top choice. (6) FANCY CREEK JOLENE is the best closer in the field by far but needs a fast early pace for his best chance.
Race 12
(5) LK'S NANCY LEE should be much closer turning for home this week. (3) WHISKERSONKITTENS just missed last week after stealing a slow first half. (8) ART ANGEL BABY mare owns a good brush when timed right and will offer a huge price.
