Race 1
In a wide open and evenly matched race, (5) ALABAMASHAKEY is more than capable with a good setup. (4) DIRECTING TRAFFIC mare was close against better last start. (3) LUCY FLEW is inconsistent from week to week but does show a recent win at this level.
Race 2
(5) BLUE GEM should be much closer turning for home in the short field this week; threat. (4) SMASH will look to drop and pop down in class against much weaker. (1) JETTING AROUND also drops down a notch starting from the best post.
Race 3
(5) LK'S NANCY LEE pacing mare is super sharp right now looking to make it four straight; driver's choice. (3) WHISKERSONKITTENS is probably the horse to beat but will offer low value and has burned cash in two straight. (4) ROLL TO GLORY well bred mare has a good closing kick and has hit the board in nine of twelve on the year.
Race 4
(2) BACKWOODS BARBIE owns only one win on the year but has shown recent signs of turning it around. (3) JEANA ROSE mare is just now back in racing shape and should be ready for an improved effort. (4) TRIPLE LANE MELODY jumps up with big efforts from time to time; threat.
Race 5
(7) ALL ABOUT COWBOYS four-year-old trotter can score at this level if he minds his manners. (2) JACKIE GOLDSTEIN has yet to win in fourteen starts on the year, however the gelding is dropping down in class. (5) SAND SWAN gets sent out for capable connections in an evenly matched field.
Race 6
(5) MORGANGETSHERWAY has been very competitive against similar. (8) STRAIGHT IMAGE owns a win at this level three back; threat. (6) MELODIES THAT ROCK will offer a big price but is probably best used underneath.
Race 7
(6) LINDY'S ON FIRE trotting mare will look to make it five straight wins; versatile. (4) ENERGY BAR has what it takes to beat the top choice but needs a good setup with some racing luck. (7) SCHWARBER might own the best closing ability in the field but needs to be closer turning for home.
Race 8
In the toughest race to handicap on the card, (8) FOX VALLEY ELLA will offer a big price and can hit the ticket with a trouble-free trip. (6) STORM WINDS four-year-old looks terrible on paper but does own a win over the track. (1) FREE RANGE CHIKIN made up a bunch of late ground from a tough spot last start.
Race 9
(7) ARTS-ROCKSTAR owns a win against similar on the year. (5) LEXINGTON LADY former 2-year-old Illinois champ is a shell of her former self but finds a very soft spot. (4) RED HOT N FLASHY does show some competitive lines against better; threat.
