In a wide-open race, (2) JUST FRED takes a significant drop in class. (8) DALI SPECIAL needs a good setup for his best chance. (10) JADED TRUTH picks up a huge driver change; fires early.
Race 2
(8) MYSTICAL NECTAR pacing mare is better than what she shows on paper. (7) ROCKING KATIE has been sharp and will offer a much better price this week. (6) ROCKIN PRALINE looks to be a contender but has been facing weaker.
Race 3
(2) WHATEVERSHESGOT looked to be home free last week before slowing up late. The trotting mare can handle this bunch with a good effort. (5) JOLENES PINEHONKER nine-year-old gelding scored a long overdue victory last week against similar; threat. (6) WILLY MOUSE drops in class and was the driver's choice.
Race 4
(5) SPIRIT O'MAR lightly raced trotter will be looking for eight wins in thirteen career efforts. (4) MUSCLE IMAGE looks to be on the right track and should be much sharper third start back off the layoff. (1) DRIVEN has come up empty in two straight; command a price.
Race 5
In an evenly matched race, (1) SWEETSHADYSHARK was much improved second start out for a new barn last week. The pacing mare can repeat with a similar effort. (7) BLUE GEM has hit the board in five straight; threat. (4) HSLB MICHELLE made the most money in the field last year.
Race 6
(8) FOX VALLEY CATWALK sophomore filly might be starting to figure it out. The pacer had a lot of late pace last week. (7) LILAC LAUREY three-year-old broke her maiden from off the pace last week and has room to improve. (5) POPPY SEED needed the start off the long layoff last out; threat.
Race 7
(1) CUINTHEPURPLERAIN lightly raced pacer looks to be the best of the bunch. (7) CAUSWAY four-year-old might be the only threat to the top choice and adds second-time lasix. (5) SAGECRUSH was a two move winner last out against weaker.
Race 8
(9) LAKESIDE MS QUEEN has a good history at the track and picks up a top driver down in class. (8) BLING veteran pacer faces much softer and will offer a monster price. (6) YOUNG AMERICAN hasn't won in a long time and burned cash last week; use caution.
Race 9
(4) E R VINCENT looks to be pacing much faster than most of the field. (6) NORTHERN ANGLE probably needs a start but was sharp in the qualifier. (3) TALENTS MARVEL gets sent out for a capable barn but is probably best used underneath.
Race 10
(2) BUCKLEGIRL BOBETTE looks primed for a better effort third start back off the long layoff. (5) BOOGIE ON DOWN mare has lacked late pop in her recent miles; command a price. (3) PLACE'N FIRST looks to be in line for a ground-saving trip up close.
