History was made during Friday afternoon's card at Harrah's Philadelphia, with driver Tim Tetrick becoming the 11th member of the 10,000 win club and doing so faster than any other driver had previously. Tetrick came into the card with 9,998 wins, and he moved the odometer to 9,999 with a victory in race 12 behind Yankee Glide 2-year-old Pack N Play (1:59 3/5).  After just missing the milestone with a second-place finish in race 13, the nightcap went Tetrick's way as he guided Earl Variera, a 3-year-old colt by Explosive Matter, to a 1:58 2/5 score to give him number 10,000. With 10,000 wins Tetrick joins Dave Palone, Tony Morgan, Herve Filion, Cat Manzi, David Miller, Dave Magee, Zeke Parker Jr., Walter Case Jr., John Campbell, Mike Lachance, and Kevin Wallis as far as North American drivers. The Illinois native, who will turn 36 on November 22, also sits fifth all-time on the earnings list for drivers, with a chance he could reach the $200 million mark in 2018.
