Race 7

DEAR MAC was solid in his debut for DeFrancesco off the recent claim and finds himself facing a very similar field to the one he wired last out. WHITE RULER returns here from Yonkers for Drennan and is back to the level of his most recent win. RESTLESS goes for third different barn in a row; let's see how that Pocono form translates here. ROJETTE'S BEST had some late pace to offer last out but hasn't won in a couple years.

Race 8

MARKUP HANOVER has looked good in his pair of races over the track and was probably best in his most recent despite only managing to finish second at 6/1. The move to the rail will only complement his early speed; one to catch. BOFFIN showed promise last year in just two starts as a freshman; qualified back with a last quarter in :27 3/5. The undefeated Donato Hanover colt can't be overlooked. CASHCO should be forwardly placed.

Race 9

SHINE N SHIMMER was in against some rather salty ones last out. She did well for herself to secure a good early position and chase home the even money Burke-trained favorite. She had sharp pace at both of ends of her mile two back; has to be respected. COWBOYS DREAMER is another that will bring her early speed to the party. She has a shot right back up the ladder and is an obvious short-priced contender. SHAWNEE DANCER has raced well against better for Sheridan of late; has post edge on main rivals. SUMMERTIME LEA brings that 8-for-9 lifetime record with her, but this won't be easy.

Race 10

FAST PULSE gave a formidable rival all he could handle last out in a very aggressive try and almost raced too good to deserve to lose. It's tough to be excited considering this one is now winless in 14 tries, but he won't have any excuse not to finally break through today. WANT ME made it to the races very early last year in the 2-year-old season and there could be some talent here; wouldn't be a surprise. TEEN SHARK did well last out in closing to finish second against a heavily backed winner.
