Race 7

SHALOM G got weary in the lane last out but his race prior to that was exceptional. In that race two back he easily defeated a number of his key rivals today; his best would be more than good enough. SCRATCH OFF was no match for the top choice a couple back but rebounded nicely to just miss two weeks ago in 1:54 4/5; nice post to rally from. RINGSIDE MUSCLE returns after an easy front end score at Harrington; likely to be involved early. TUDY appears to have tailed off slightly.

Race 8

PETTY HANOVER attempted to make a move last out in a mile that went in 1:54 1/5 and prior to that was in tougher against relatively decent rivals. Makes just his fourth start of the season today; capable of a much improved try. CREDITCARD EXPRESS invades from Balmoral and goes from Seekman to Hall. It's tough to gauge how that Midwest form will translate here, but this one was Callahan's choice over another newcomer to these parts, GOTTA BE PERFECT.

Race 9

ASTOUNDING HANOVER hasn't been able to last in his most recent two races, but now makes his third start for difficult-to-ignore connections while landing the rail. No question about strategy. BIG TEN CHAMP did well to be second last out but is becoming somewhat of a money burner, always offering a short price; obvious contender. T BOONE remains a very hot commodity at the claiming box; needs to stay sharp for new barn. Just two races ago MCTONE COLD was 2/5 at this level; will offer a price for new connections.

Race 10

LOOKING HANOVER makes his second start back after the month off and that was a very sharp rival he ran into in his return. More should be coming today. NOT AFRAID was great in the Horse & Groom final in March against Quik Deal but has been tough to figure since. SLEEK N WOW has been up against it in his last couple; more realistic spot today at a square price. ZITOMIRA drops and is an obvious short-priced contender for Ingrassia.
