Harrah's Philadelphia: Pick Four Spotlight for Thursday 4/18

Brett Sturman|Apr 17, 2013

$1 recommended play: 1-7 / 1-2-8 / 2-6-7 / 8 $18

Race 7

GO GET EM couldn't track down Raging Grin last out, but this field came up blank and is likely the one to beat. Horse that beat this one two back won again next out; right to the front. TROUBLE HANOVER couldn't last on the lead in his most recent after parlaying a pocket trip to victory two back; figures for at least a share. HE DA COOL MAN goes from post 8 to the rail; flashed a brief move in his last before fading. LLOYD ARNOLD won here earlier in the year.

Race 8

TASTY MAX was parked early and then chased home The Chancellor last week in a good try. Raced against some superior ones to these four and five back; will be put play. WYGANT PRINCE was a confident winner last out upon arrival; will need to go faster but is compensated by the pole. LIKE A HUSH went first over in his most recent at Dover against an odds-on favorite; held well. JUSTTHERIGHTOUCH hasn't raced in a few weeks but is capable if ready.

Race 9

THE FACE OF LOVE half won of her eight starts on the year and drops after decent enough efforts against better in her last pair. Has post edge on main rivals; slight nod. FASHION MYSTERY went a big trip in her last at Dover and fits on paper; third start back since the layoff. MISS BEHAVE has climbed the class ladder since the Dylan Davis February claim; any number of those prior 1:52 miles would figure here.

Race 10

DONTGETINHISWAY looked powerful in his most recent going in a fast 1:53:1; prior effort to be second against Ellen's Isle was solid too. Impossible not to include. FORT VALLEY AS returns from Cal Expo; very similar looking Sabot horse won last week upon arrival. ORDER BY TEXAS was sharp in his last when making his first start for new barn, first start since December. RIDE IN STYLE was Tetrick's pick of a couple.
