Race 7

DRAGON AHS was a convincing winner last on the drop for Herrera and now steps right back up to a level that shouldn't be much more difficult. Impossible not to include; likely going right to the front. THE ENCOUNTER is a fresh claim and might be in deceptively good form right now; isn't out of the question. DM BIG DOG DADDY didn't fire his best in recent tries at the Meadowlands; seems to always be well supported. LISLEA PAT picked up his game in recent weeks at Rosecroft; fits on paper.

Race 8

MOREY returns east while making his second start for Lorentzon and didn't race terribly in starts at the Meadowlands early in the winter. Should be able to figure against these. MY AMERICA BI finished with a :27:4 final quarter in his recent qualifier; stakes tested last year at two and is likely the one to beat for Smedshammer. It didn't look like CUPCAKE was doing anything last out even before the break; CANDID PHOTO might take more action than he should.

Race 9

CAPE MARJ goes second start off the claim and wasn't in much of a position to threaten last out when taken back at the start from seventh. She was in against a tough rival in her prior pair and four back was a sharp winner here. MCACE OF ARTS got the trip last out but couldn't finish it off; short priced contender that I'm not thrilled about. HOLD ONTO YOUR HAT capitalized off a perfect pocket trip behind battling leaders last weekend; stands chance to repeat against these. CAVIART LINDY was first over three back; surprise possibility.

Race 10

RAVEN DE VIE debuts for Ryder off a couple of decent qualifiers; seems fast enough and could be flashing speed. SUGARO trotted the fastest recent mile on paper by way of his 1:57:2 timed try at the Meadowlands; well bred filly. BROADWAY ANGEL is now 0-8 and failed last out at 30 cents on the dollar; not the easiest call. BLUEGLIDE VOLO could be any kind; wouldn't be a total shock.
