Harrah's Philadelphia: Pick Four Spotlight for Friday 4/12

Brett Sturman|Apr 10, 2013

$1 play: 3-4-5 / 5-8 / 2-3 / 1-8 $24

Race 7

CATCHMECULLEN A has been involved in six straight miles at Dover that have gone in under 1:51 and some of those rivals stand out. 10-year-old gelding is well on his way to back to back $100K seasons, deserves respect in here. QUINNMAN had a useful debut last out for Burke; will take action from the improved post. MILITARY STRATCOM returns East for Sabot; tough to predict what we'll get today. RESTLESS NATIVE was used twice in his most recent at Dover; comes out of the same race as the top choice.

Race 8

MR HASANI should have been able to hold last week off the relatively cheap half mile, but that was a vicious late kick by Voice Of Truth; gotta give credit where it's due. This one was still well clear of all others; one more chance at the short price. RESCUE PLAN chased home a well meant winner in a fast mile last out; strong winner two back. SUMMER CAMP has been hit or miss through much of the year; his best would be good enough on the drop and needs to stay out of his own way early.

Race 9

Not an easy field here to spot anyone in particular, but GET THE LOOK comes out of a race against Jerseylicious and this will be the first time all year she's had a realistic chance to show something. Pierce listed to drive is a sign of positive intent. Gets nod in wide open field. SOUTHERN LADY won over this track last year as a 2-year-old in 1:55; return Q wasn't bad. KARDASHIAN loomed two back and faltered last out on the front; back to closing tactics. DONTCH REMEMBER makes her second start back; HS OPEN WATERS will probably attract attention but is hard to be enthused about.

Race 10

LORD TERROR is no stranger to this oval and he's been razor sharp since the Goldwater claim in February. Looks just as good as anyone else; should offer a price coming from the outside. COURSER HANOVER beat a similar field here three back for Brandon Todd and FOUR STARZ Q jumps right back up after an easy win in the 15's. APACHE RENEGADE goes first start for what appears to be a positive barn change; post helps.
