Race 1 - Claiming $10,000
3 - NEAT was a solid $10k winner two back, and since showed ability to pass tired foes from astern in a tougher assignment. Drops back to a proven level; reunited with Tetrick. 4 - OWN IT was re-claimed by Moffitt out of his last start and has demonstrated a consistent ability to chase for minors at this level. 8 - CHARGER BLUE CHIP wired similar out of post 7 four starts back, and bounced back from a clunker the start after with a pair of respectable stalking efforts for minors. Versatile enough; mind value out of the wide draw.
Race 2 - Claiming $12,500
3 - DREAM OUT LOUD N seeks back-to-back wins at this level after working hard to clear and parrying pressure in his last. Post relief and a win against $15k company four back give this newly-minted millionaire a slight edge. 4 - LOOKINFORADVENTURE powered clear of $10k types last week and won with plenty reserve. The 46-time winner is versatile enough; worth extra play if the price drifts up. 6 - CANDELL was flat against $15k foes in his debut for Ginsburg on Sept. 24, but lifted mildly to save third at 22-1 on the drop to this level. The stalker-closer can offer significant potential to boost exotic value.
Race 3 - F&M Non-Winners $2,500 Last 5 Starts
3 - TSM ARTEMIS T passed mares late in her last after missing a week due to sickness. While winless on the year, she returns to face a more manageable group. Staying power is ample. 4 - PIRAEUS was fourth or better five of her last six. She's the lone mare to drop from second-level company, and as such, value is bound to take a serious hit. 2 - ROCKLINDAROCK flattened last week after stalking cover up the far side. Easier yet await; can share for a minor.
Race 4 - F&M Non-Winners $7,050 Last 5 Starts
6 - BLACKWELL RUBY IR improved from astern to save fourth in a much tougher N8L event at Yonkers last Tuesday, and before that, she chased respectably for minors in tougher conditioned events at Pocono. Steps down after promising outings. 2 - D GS ELSA just missed tougher from the pocket last week after failed pressing and stalking bids in top-class races. Further relief and the kind draw aid, but be mindful of value. 4 - IDEAL LIFESTYLE A won solidly at this level two back before early exertion to clear did her in at Harrington last Tuesday. Can rebound in this return outing, but mind value on this one as well.
Race 5 - F&M Non-Winners $10,000 Last 5 Starts
8 - I'M VERY SPECIAL drilled a 1:50 4/5 open-length win against tougher in mid-August, but since has been largely overmatched but not totally lacking in tougher assignments. Despite the wide draw, this drop below her last winning level can be enough to refresh. 1 - ROYALTYWESTHO just made it from the pocket at this level three back, and the pole can get her near enough the pace to suit her preferred racing style. 6 - MAGICAL MISTRESS lifted out of traffic to just miss last time after keeping a pressing bid alive through a quickening pace two back. 7 - BYE BYE FELICIA pressed hard and flattened on the drop to this level but won from an earned pocket four back. 3 - A CRAFTY LADY can share in the Hi-5 too, having passed tired foes from astern for fifth in a similar race in her last and having fared better from nearer the pace late in the summer.
Race 6 - F&M Non-Winners 5 Races or $50,000
1 - WINGDING HANOVER was shuffled badly up the back last week, but emerged out of traffic to save third. Similar await; strength of late-summer N3L wins encourages. 5 - SHOTGUN PERSUASION was also a victim of traffic trouble in the same race Wingding Hanover exits, but was outkicked for third by the aforementioned — who was shuffled more severely - by a neck. Reunited with Tetrick. 8 - PRECIOUS ALEXIS rises from a strong front-end N3L win on arrival last week after proving a consistent minor player on the NY Sire Stakes circuit all summer. She's moving in the right direction.
Race 7 - Liberty Bell (PA-sired 3yo colts and geldings)
1 - ALLYWAG HANOVER took on the best of the best all season long to this point, and fared respectably, all things considered. This stakes assignment is considerably easier than recent Grand Circuit outings. By all counts, he's the one to beat. 6 - MANTICORE has come into his own of late, pressing and stalking his way to strong finishes in similar stakes events. Strong finisher boasts ample raw speed; solid second choice. 5 - TRU LOU has warmed up a fair bit since adding Lasix, as is evident by two solid runner-up finishes and a 1:48 effort at Lexington in which he did a fair bit of work through a :53 2/5 middle half.
Race 8 - Liberty Bell (PA-sired 3yo colts and geldings)
6 - OVERSERVED swept through Stallion Series company after dropping to that level in August. He showed pacesetting and pressing ability alike in that stretch. Reunited with Tetrick after a respectably even stalking effort at The Meadows. 4 - PAULIE WALNUTS edged clear of N5L types at odds-on in his last after mustering minors in the upper Sire Stakes circuit. He's got a share of the raw speed edge in this group. 2 - TOWN VICTOR qualified well on Oct. 1 to stay sharp after tearing through the minor stakes circuit. Expect the 8-time winner to be involved from the outset.
Race 9 - F&M Non-Winners $20,000 Last 5 Starts
8 - MACHNHOPE had lots left at the end of her dominant 1:50 2/5 score on arrival last week. Past local efforts were strong, too. I'm inclined to fully forgive her Sept. 24 line on account of being embroiled in a :55 1/5 speed duel with no relief. 1 - CAVIART CHERIE duelled on the far turn to protect a no-match second after giving way to Machnhope at the midway stage last week. Pole keeps this rising mare close to the action with even less exertion necessary. 7 - LISPATTY invades from Yonkers after working to the point, rating, and stretching clear off the home turn in her last. She's only been worse than fourth once in her last seven tries. Gains Nap on arrival.
Race 10 - Liberty Bell (PA-sired 3yo colts and geldings)
6 - PATRIOT NATION won twice in his last three starts after chasing Grand Circuit types for minors in PASS competition. Nap opts on the Harris trainee. Slim call. 8 - TITO ROCKS just missed the tough Nicholas Beach two back, and since wired N3L foes here at tens-on. He has pacesetting and closing ability alike. 2 - GINGRAS BEACH gave pretty good chase to Patriot Nation last week to save third from a stalking trip. Inside draw can help him stay close again in a pretty wide-open division.
Race 11 - F&M Non-Winners $14,000 Last 5 Starts, 7 Races or $70,000
6 - DELISHKA N improved belatedly to save fourth behind Machnhope in last week's feature after holding on narrowly in her previous outing. Expect sharper coming right back; class relief and Nap opting on both help. 4 - ABIGAIL DAWN also exits the Machnhope Race and reached at this level from an earned pocket the week before. Midpack draw gives Dunn tactical options. 5 - BARON REMY rises after digging deep for a fourth-level win last week. Three back, she nearly held sway at this level, only to be nabbed by Brunhilda in the last yards. Expect her to be a big part of the early pace; Gingras returns.
Race 12 - Liberty Bell (PA-sired 3yo colts and geldings)
6 - LOYAL FOX HANOVER pressed and flattened in his last two tries, but won powerfully at Goshen before that. Gains Tetrick in a race that shapes up as a slight step down on the whole. 1 - ARCLIGHT HANOVER had the aid of Loyal Fox Hanover's cover in his last two outings, and rallied off that cover to take second on both occasions. He's stalked his way into the money in four of his last five, now. 7 - KYRIE DEO also has demonstrated ability to succeed from pressing and stalking trips in recent weeks, just missing the strong Kasha V twice at Freehold and keeping a pressing bid alive for a narrow miss at Pocono since. Reunited with Callahan.
Race 13 - F&M Non-Winners 3 Races or $30,000
5 - FIRESIDE hit the board in four of her last five at the level from a variety of trips. She lifted off cover to win at this class seven back, note. Reunited with Tetrick. 3 - WINNING WORDS was simply too far off the pace to threaten last week, but she has shown consistent staying ability from closer tracking trips. Cosier draw should aid. 1 - COURTING MARIE found stakes company too much, but she stayed on respectably from some tough journeys at this level throughout the season. Pole keeps her close.
Race 14 - F&M Non-Winners $4,000 Last 5 Starts
5 - SLICK ARTIST A never got involved from astern last out, but fared better when able to land closer to the pace the start before. Midpack draw and class relief can both lift her. 1 - SWEET CHERRY makes her local debut after gaining into a no-match second at Northfield last out. Draws inside; gains Nap. 8 - ROLLING GOING GONE circled boldly to just miss on the drop to this level. Similar await the solid finisher.
