BEST BET: ODDS ON OUTLIER (15th) SPOT PLAY: CHAPERCRAZ (3rd) Race 1: Pennsylvania Stallion Series for 3YO C&G - Pick 4 (6) BANDERAS raced very well in his 2025 debut as he dropped speed for the third time in three charted races. There should be more in the tank this week and Zeron just has to work out a winning trip. (5) SNACK ATTACK perked up with a win two back and just missed in this series last time. He’s a big threat here that figures to show early speed. (1) PACK A PUNCH beat up on a field he couldn’t possibly lose to and perhaps that will give him some confidence to step up in company. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Pennsylvania Stallion Series for 3YO C&G (5) CAPTAIN MAGESTIC flashed early speed and wound up in the three hole last time while never clear in the stretch. If he’s aggressive again, worst case scenario should have him in the pocket with a clear path to success. (3) DAMN THE TORPEDOES was out at the half even though it isn’t charted, followed cover and simply took too long to hit his top gear in the lane. He’s capable here if able to get going quicker. (2) COMPENSATE ME sat off a fast pace and pounced in the lane last time. He hasn’t missed the board this year in five tries. (7) PINEAPPLE CRUNCH has big early speed and is an exotics player for sure. [DRF BETS: Wager on today's Harrah's Philadelphia card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: Open Trot (6) CHAPERCRAZ lost the Cutler Memorial at the draw when he wound up with post nine. He draws outside again but not quite as far and versus a far inferior field. He can win from on or off the pace. (2) HASTY BID also drops out of the Cutler and I have to think he’ll be handled more aggressively this time around with that start under his belt. (1) RESOLVE TO WIN qualified well but hasn’t been in a pari-mutuel race in a month. He has a chance if the top two don’t bring their best game. Race 4: Pennsylvania Stallion Series for 3YO C&G (5) LOU’S ALBANO surprised a bunch of people at 31-1 last time but that’s what a good trip will do for you. He doesn’t catch the toughest division here and I expect he’ll be put in play again. (4) FEDERER took a conservative route from the outside post eight days ago. Expect new tactics here as he look to sit first or second. (6) BOLD SPEED raced in the higher class two starts back versus perhaps the best 3yo pacer in Louprint. Last time he caught the eight hole against one of the best in this series in Odds On Outlier. Don’t be shocked if he gets a big piece at nice odds. Race 5: Pennsylvania Sire Stakes for 3YO C&G - Pick 5 (3) CAPTAIN OPTIMISTIC looked as good as any 3-year-old I’ve seen this year qualifying. I’ll be very surprised if he leaves hard off the gate here but the short field will allow him to sit and make one strong move in the second half of the mile. (5) TWISTED DESTINY seems likely to track the top one on cover and if he takes too much air in too quick of a quarter, he might be able to catch him late. (4) PAPI’S ROCKET has three starts and three second-place finishes to horses that seem to be a notch below the top pair. Race 6: Pennsylvania Stallion Series for 3YO C&G (1) MAKES SENSE is now perfect in two starts this year and he couldn’t have won any easier last time. Let’s take a shot that he can down likely heavy favorite (4) SUGAR MAN, who failed at 1-9 last week and still hasn’t gotten over the top in 2025. He’s a smaller horse that might not be best suited for the front yet seems destined for that spot again today. (5) WELCOMETOTHESHOW seems to have a hint of ability but has been having trouble staying on stride. Race 7: Pennsylvania Sire Stakes for 3YO C&G - Pick 3 (3) RAILROAD STATION finds the softest of the three Sire Stakes divisions and is simply fastest of this group. (6) WILD BILL WYATT should enjoy getting away from Louprint. I’d like to see him hustled off the gate here and take a shot on the engine as that is when he’s had the most success. (2) HANDSOME STRANGER seemed to run up on another foes wheel last time and that cost him a place or two. Maybe he can save ground here and spice up the exotics. Race 8: Senditin Invitational Pace (5) SEVEN COLORS qualified very well at The Meadowlands and then got stuck in post seven in a tough spot to start his 2025 campaign. The performance was solid and you have to expect he’ll show a lot more now in what could be a breakout 5-year-old year. (3) SOUTHWIND GENDRY has now won two straight and his last was in an insane 1:47 4/5 over a very fast track. Millionaire seems to sharp to ignore despite the much better competition. (6) DESPERATE MAN brushed and was simply too good a week ago when beating the top pick. He clearly has a big shot here but is far from a lock. (7) MAXIMUS MIKI has qualified nicely for his return to the races. Six-year-old can leave hard or grind with the best of them. Race 9: Pennsylvania Stallion Series for 3YO C&G (5) FUSION was stretched out nicely last time at The Meadowlands while chasing Captain Optimistic. He should be primed for a winning mile now. (7) GET WINGS won his first morning mile of the year and last time was asked to get behind the leader and was content to chase. There could be more here than meets the eye. (3) BITCOIN HANOVER enjoyed the drop to TSS competition last time and should be able to get a piece of this race. Race 10: Pennsylvania Sire Stakes for 3YO C&G - $10K GTD Pick 4 (3) LOUPRINT was used two back in a victory and got a nice easy pace and win last time. Son of Sweet Lou is clearly the horse to beat and will probably be put on the engine again. (6) GO GO GRASSHOPPER has missed a few weeks of action after the scratched-sick line but that shouldn’t stop him from firing off the gate and sitting no worse than a pocket trip. (2) FALLOUT raced well in his 3-year-old debut and he’s certainly a player here if the top one falters even slightly. Race 11: $100,000 Maxie Lee Trot (1) ANTOGNONI S brushed and just couldn’t go the distance in the Cutler on the big track last time. There was plenty of wind blowing around and maybe that played a role as well. He moves to a smaller oval here and maybe getting the jump on the field will work in this instance. (2) AETOS KRONOS S is possibly going to be 1-5 in this spot and I understand that given what we’ve seen so far. It will be on Dunn to make sure he’s close enough to wear down the leader because he’s unlikely to outsprint some of the others off the gate. (4) SIR PINOCCHIO has big gate speed and that could play better on the smaller track here; needs to improve and maybe addition of Lasix does it. Race 12: $100,000 Joseph Auger Memorial Pace - Pick 3 I’m certain the connections of (8) RUTHLESS HANOVER would’ve preferred a better post but I’m not sure his chances are hurt by being outside. First, it provides him the opportunity for him to be the last of the early speeds to the front. Second, last year coming back from winter vacation he popped a 1:47 1/5 mile. I expect Napolitano will step on the gas and hopefully he gets the top without emptying the tank. (4) BYTHEMISSAL came up with a big mile at Scioto in his second start of the year and I expect he’ll work out a nice trip here either behind the top pick or tracking #3. (7) MOSSDALE BEN N has been a killer when given a target and any fair pace scenario during the Borgata series at Yonkers. Can he pace in 1:47? I don’t know. If the pace gets crazy and he’s in the flow, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him charging hard. (3) ABUCKABETT HANOVER was much better in his second qualifier but I fear a first-over trip is coming. He can take the air and hit the board but I don’t think he’ll win. Race 13: $100,000 Betsy Ross Pace I’m honestly not sure whether (6) MY GIRL EJ can handle the monster that is (5) TWIN B JOE FRESH, but I loved the way she qualified and at least I know she’ll offer a much better price. The latter is the Horse of the Year from 2024 and if she can be defeated by a mare she won’t go down without a fight. (8) ROCKET DEO is going to be helped by getting off the half-mile track. Post eight does present a problem though. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 14: Open Pace (8) KEN HANOVER blitzed a much weaker field in his second start of the year and while he’s up against it from post eight, there is plenty of early speed signed on here. He’s the fastest horse in the field for my money and only needs a fair chance to score. (2) MAC’S DELIGHT is on a three-race winning streak and I’m not very concerned about the scratched-sick line since he wasn’t going to compete from post eight versus that field. (3) SHEER TERROR has big early speed and I wouldn’t be shocked if he put his head down and tried a speed mission. Race 15: Pennsylvania Stallion Series for 3YO C&G (5) ODDS ON OUTLIER has looked like the real deal all year and is currently undefeated in 2025. I’m not expecting his streak to end today. (1) WAFFLE BLUE CHIP picked up his first win of the year last week. He should push away hard from the cones and try to secure a pocket trip. (2) SOUTHWIND JUDGE hasn’t missed the board in a long time. How will his early speed play out on the smaller track? Race 16: Pennsylvania Stallion Series for 3YO C&G (5) INTERSTATEDAYDREAM had no shot from post eight but kept up nicely. I’ll take a shot that he has more in the tank than some will think. (6) BEACH CLUB MONTY has won three straight and is clearly a major contender. (4) ODDS ON NO LIMIT has speed and form but I prefer him underneath.
