Race 1 - Claiming $20,000-$25,000
1 - MY DELIGHT jumps back to high claimers after a two-move second-level score last week. Keeps Dunn; pole can sharpen him. 3 - GUNSLINGER HILL debuts for Hall after a flurry of recent claiming activity. The 12-time winner has hit the exacta in his last five, from on the lead and out of the pocket alike. Strong, for sure. 8 - IC A FREE SPIRIT lifted down the outside to win at 26-1 last week. He's saddled with a wide draw this time, but with enough pressure afore, he can prove a late factor again.

Race 2 - Claiming $15,000
4 - MISSISSIPPI RABBIT held sway on the drop to this level two back, and was just upended last week after a middle move and heavy late pressure. Form figures to carry. 2 - COLE ON THE BEACH debuts for Mosher after saving second behind the sharp Gunslinger Hill from a boxed-in trip. Cosy draw works well to his preferred racing style. 5 - REDHOT ROMEO was first past the post for $10k last week, but was DQed for causing late-stretch interference to his direct adversary. Raw speed in Pocono lines fits well with this group; can share.

Race 3 - Non-Winners $7,000 Last 5 Starts
6 - ROLLINLIKETHUNDER won smartly as the favourite last mile out and tries a higher NW level today. He's sensible as a medium-price player and recent racing has demonstrated significant improvement. Likeable spot to help anchor any Pick-3. 7 - IDEAL WHEEL will almost be certain to hustle to the top today. He had an attractive qualifier after a troubled pari-mutuel mile beforehand. Fits the class, and fine connections support the cause. The right trip and measure of speed wins. 4 - RANDOM HANOVER was able to stalk the pace, gain on leading rivals, and finish a close second last week. Tries a slightly higher level today, but carries the right amount of raw speed to factor. Readily capable to share.
Race 4 - Claiming $15,000
5 - POKERFACE BLUECHIP toiled from the pocket last out, but put in a good belated bid the start before. Today, he drops back down to a level where he closed to hit the board four, five and six back. Gains Dunn. 8 - EVER AGAIN likewise drops back to the $15k level after higher claimers and traffic trouble got the better of him. Wide draw is a big obstacle, but he consistently shows up at this class when it counts. 6 - AN THE THUNDEROLLS improved belatedly in his last few starts at this level after a failed pressing bid on debut for his current connections. Solid value play in deeper exotics with just a touch more oomph.
Race 5 - Claiming $20,000-$25,000
3 - JEREMES GENERAL loomed boldly while passing many rivals last week to nearly score. Speed late in his effort two starts prior also attracts, appealing campaign since his local arrival last month. Firmly knocking on the door to keep at it with more upper-echelon contests. 6 - DRINKA BEER has produced reliable positive outcomes since joining us from Yonkers. Fits right in for a slice, may leave or float and gate choices should abound. 7 - MORE DRAGON led well but tired in his last. The right trip and some speed to chase might create a better outcome. If speed gets excessive, he benefits. Useful in exotics. 8 - ALEX TYE has versatility that will be beneficial in this contest. Tough assignment, but a level that's provably manageable. One more to think about. 4 - DA MAGICIAN moved into the lead last week, one more that’s locally strong.
Race 6 - Non-Winners 5 Races or $50,000
5 - ACTOR HANOVER returns from a two-month spell off a sharp local qualifier. He fared well against stakes-tested company at this level through the summer; form edge noted. 1 - ENOUGH SUN saved second out of traffic last week, and that was in pursuit of the mighty sharp Buy In. Pole keeps him close; mind value. 2 - SOUTHWIND DREDGE improved mildly up the far side to take a no-match fourth in his last try at the level. Cosier draw can keep him closer from the outset.
Race 7 - Claiming $20,000-$25,000
6 - DON’T JUDGE A BOOK seeks a fourth straight win - would be three locally today if successful. Top call on the card due to winning habit, exceptionally hard to argue merits, class hike more than appropriate. 5 – RAZOR’S EDGE also won attractively last week by distance after a pair of second-place finishes as the favourite. Presents as the chief danger to the top choice. Weigh the odds. 7 - IAMMRBRIGHTSIDE N delivered a terrific win two starts prior at like company. Post presents a challenge, but he's able to leave and compete demonstrably well. Shares easily.

Race 8 - Non-Winners 3 Races or $30,000
1 - NOTHING TO PROVE is my roughie call of the day, and for good reason. He fared quite well for Danny Romo in the Maritimes this summer, but has struggled to get around Yonkers since DiDomenico acquired him. Venue change can freshen him; Dubé has options from the pole. 6 - ROGERTHAT BLUECHIP won his qualifier on Dec. 1 after taking a couple months off. Fitness remains a variable, but he fared OK with similar in late summer. 3 - FULL VIEW makes his second start back after chasing belatedly for fifth at M1 last out. Can do enough for at least a minor share with closer flow.
Race 9 - Non-Winners $7,000 Last 5 Starts
5 - SEEYOU AT THEBEACH pressed steadily into second before levelling off last week, and now he steps down to the kindest group he's seen all season. Stakes-tested colt is well proven. 4 - ROCK THE DEVIL likewise drops in class amid improving form, having just missed at M1 last out via a long uncovered grind. These two stand out most to me. 2 - LIKE CLOCKWORK dropped to this level in his last, and flattened after pushing a hard middle half. He gains David Miller on arrival; success with tougher groups earlier in the fall noted.
Race 10 - Non-Winners $14,000 Last 5 Starts, 7 Races or $70,000
6 - BELLOWS BINGE was able to lead much of the way as near-favourite and rapidly delivered. This class hike appears mild, looks the part to contend well. Slim call against powerful foes. 5 - ROCK THE TOWN boasts a sub-1:50 best and figures in the raw speed quotient. Capable to press and pass on urging. Useful addition with a good win chance. Appealing spot. 2 - VETTEL N made a resounding impression last week, gaining from last to be a much closer third at long odds. Post relief noticed, don't miss this candidate in a better setting today.
Race 11 - Non-Winners 3 Races or $30,000
3 - PIT MASTER won his Dec. 1 qualifier after grappling with gait issues for some time. Early season potential encourages; potential price drifter. 5 - GERARD just missed last week and almost lasted the start before. Similar await; expect him to be prominent. 1 - PROTOSTAR looks to make amends for a break in her debut for Ehrhart, and can benefit from the pole after a respectable qualifier. Stakes success in Ontario noted.
Race 12 - Non-Winners $7,000 Last 5 Starts
1 - BILLY BADGER N beat tougher twice in the last three months, and now looks to rebound after traffic trouble two back and a clunker at M1 in his last. Pole keeps him close early and sharp late. 4 - WESTERN HILL rises up the class ladder following a string of improved chasing efforts from off the pace. Form cycle encourages. 5 - FIRENGLOW A gains McCarthy after emerging out of traffic to save second on the drop to this level last week.
Race 13 - Non-Winners $2,500 Last 5 Starts
1 - ROCK THREE TIMES finally receives complete post relief and a drop to the lowest level. Might serve as a refreshing drop after showing good raw speed upstate. Tissue-thin call and potential price drift. 4 - BABY KITTY responded well to his class drop on his last mile, closing in to be an improved third. Versatility gets notice. This contender gets a week's extra rest which ought to aid; he fits right in. 7 - NEWBIE joins us from New Jersey where he passed the tired and was a markedly close fourth. Most recent raw speed and late fractions are plenty to figure in this contest.
Race 14 - Non-Winners $10,800 Last 5 Starts
3 - OUTKAST BLUE CHIP never got involved last out, but faces a more manageable by comparison group today. Strength of wins two and three back noted. 5 - P L MUNSON seeks a third straight after opening up and having just enough in both of his starts to date for Taneyhill. Can continue to build for his new connections. 1 - AMERICAN CHROME won impressively out of the 10-hole at M1 last week, clearing, yielding, and emerging to reach at sixes after being shuffled. Post relief largely offsets class hike.
