Joviality S and Lyons Serenity added to their respective win streaks by capturing the $200,000 Kentuckiana Stallion Management events for 2-year-old fillies on both gaits Friday night at Harrah's Hoosier Park. New York Sire Stakes champion Joviality S (Brian Sears) got away in fourth at the 28 4/5 opening quarter in the trot, but driver Brian Sears brought her to the outside in the backstretch, and she swept around Raised By Lindy (Yannick Gingras) to take command approaching the 58 3/5 half. Joviality S would go on to put three-quarters on the board in 1:27 1/5, and she sprinted home in 27 seconds to defeat a gaining Raised By Lindy by half a length in 1:54 1/5. Je Suis Si Belle (Andy Miller) was the third-place finisher. A daughter of Chapter Seven-Pasithea Face S, Joviality S is trained by Marcus Melander for owner/breeder Courant Inc. Joviality S, who has four straight victories, has compiled an overall record of 6-1-0 from eight tries, and she has pocketed $324,623. She was passed by Lyons Serenity (Tim Tetrick) on the way to the 55 4/5 half, and then Lyons Serenity released a two-wide and challenging Cape Cod Hanover (Chris Page) on the last turn. Cape Cod Hanover rolled through three-quarters in 1:24 2/5 and continued to show the way through the stretch, but Tetrick put Lyons Serenity in the passing lane in the last eighth, and she was able out-kick Cape Cod Hanover to prevail by half a length in 1:52. Lorraine Smoke (James Yoder) got up for third. "I thought I might get away a little closer and then move back to the front a little sooner," said Tetrick. "I was happy when Chris's horse kept following me; that way I could race mine off a helmet. "She's really grown up a lot in her last four or five races. She's letting me do my job. Before, she wanted to do it her way. We had to manage her, but she's really learning fast." Lyons Serenity,a  Sweet Lou-Southwind Serenity filly bred by Southwind Farms, made her sixth straight appearance in the winner's circle for trainer Jim King Jr. and owner Threelyonsracing.
