Harrah's Hoosier Park: M-M's Dream tenacious in Crossroads of America triumph

M-M's Dream improved to 12-for-13 in the win column in 2022 with a hard-fought 1:53 3/5 win in the $110,000 Crossroads of America for sophomore trotting fillies on Friday night at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
Driven by David Miller for the first time, M-M's Dream settled in fourth at the 27 4/5 opening quarter and then moved to the outside as the horses raced in the backstretch. She forged her way past Jusmakinyalook (Jordan Ross) for the top spot past the 56 2/5 half and kept the lead through three-quarters in 1:25 as Cash Infusion (Atlee Bender) made a menacing first-over move into second on the rim after swinging out from fifth.
In the lane M-M's Dream and Cash Infusion traded blows, and although it looked like Cash Infusion, who was coming off a track record victory in the Circle City last Friday, had the momentum, M-M's Dream had the answers as she boxed on at the inside and out-kicked Cash Infusion late in the going to prevail by a quarter of a length. Gabbys C Note (Chris Page) rallied from sixth to third in the final quarter, and she was followed by Funky Wiggle (Kyle Wilfong) and Jusmakinyalook.
