Three-year-old pacing fillies were the featured attraction at Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Friday, June 23 as they squared off in the second round of Indiana Sires Stakes action. Two divisions, worth $50,000 and $49,500, highlighted the evening's 14-race card, and it was Harrah's Hoosier Park's defending leading trainer and driver who teamed up to sweep both events.
In the first flight, Rollin Rosie delivered as the heavy betting favorite, scoring in 1:51 1/5 with driver Trace Tetrick in the bike for trainer Tyler George. Leaving from post nine, Tetrick sent Rollin Rosie away from the gate just enough to get a spot along the rail in seventh through the opening panel in 27 2/5. Fortunada and John DeLong were on top before yielding the lead to Polks Image and Kyle Wilfong just before the half in 56 2/5. As the field approached the third station in 1:24 1/5, Rollin Rosie was on the attack from first-over.
Utilizing a final quarter of 27 seconds, Rollin Rosie was able to track down Polks Image and hold off a late surge from Fortunada to get the win. Fortunada was forced to settle for second while Sleazy Mama and Mike Oosting rallied well for third. Rollin Rosie returned $3.00 at the betting windows.
Rollin Rosie is now two-for-two this season and eight of nine lifetime. The daughter of JK Endofanera-Rock N Roll Baby has now earned $242,500 lifetime for owners Scp Stable Inc., Scott Tyler George and Gregory Samples. Rollin Rosie was bred by Mahlon Lambright.

In the second test, Tetrick utilized similar tactics to steer Tell's On A Roll to a 1:51 2/5 victory. Leaving from post four, Tell's On A Roll got away fifth through the opening quarter. Meanwhile, Some Big Dream and Joey Putnam dictated first-half fractions of 27 2/5 and 56 before ever feeling a threat from the rest of the field, but Tell's On A Roll moved first-over and was able to track down Some Big Dream to win by a quarter of a length. It's Corona Time and Ricky Macomber Jr. utilized a ground-saving trip and rallied well late to get up for second while Some Big Dream held on for third. Tell's On A Roll returned $3.60 to her backers at the betting windows.
With the victory, the daughter of Tellitlikeitis-Have Rock Willroll is undefeated in two starts this season. Owned in partnership by Engel Stable Of IL LLC., L.A. Willinger, and Tyler George, Tell's On A Roll has now banked $30,500 this season. Tell's On A Roll was bred by Victory Hill Farm. The victory was one of three victories on the evening’s program for Tetrick.
