Beginning on Tuesday, July 15, Harrah’s Hoosier Park will have earlier first post time go into effect, with the new daily post time of 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday for the remainder of season. “We’re looking forward to being first major harness track on the market each night we race,” said Gabe Prewitt, Vice President and General Manager of Racing at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. “We feel it’s been a disservice to both our horsemen and our bettors to be racing to almost midnight each night we race thus far, we think moving post time up will still allows us to properly schedule our races throughout the night while also allowing us to get done earlier in the evenings.” Harrah’s Hoosier Park will race on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule through October 29 before the weeks get shorter approaching the closing night of the 2025 meet on November 29. Still on tap for the 2025 season at Harrah’s Hoosier Park is the 32nd edition of the Dan Patch Stakes presented by the Indiana Standardbred Breed Development (Aug. 8) just one month away, in addition to the Grade 1 Peter Haughton and Jim Doherty Memorials (Sept. 12), Caesars Trotting Classic presented by Kountry Lane Standardbreds (Sept. 19) and Hoosier Champions night (Oct. 10) For more information on the 2025 live racing season at Harrah’s Hoosier Park, guests are encouraged to visit www.harrahshoosierpark.com. -edited release (Hoosier Park)
