Driver John De Long steered For Dayze and Expressive Gal to wins in $67,500 Indiana Sire Stakes divisions for 2-year-old filly trotters on Tuesday night at Harrah's Hoosier Park.

In the first flight Meadowbrook Ashley (Doug Rideout) cut the quarter in 28 1/5 and then yielded to a pocket-pulling For Dayze on the way to the 58 3/5 half. From there, For Dayze went on to three-quarters in 1:28 1/5 and kicked away through the lane to prevail by 3 1/4 lengths in 1:56 1/5. Make It Spicy (Kyle Husted) got up for second from Meadowbrook Ashley.

By Swan For All, For Dayze is trained by Roger Welch for owners William De Long and William P. De Long. Bred by Ernie Lambright, For Dayze has three wins and two seconds from five starts, has earned $85,500 and paid $3.60 to win.

Help Cum Laude (Aaron Stutzman) clicked off panels of 27 2/5, 56 4/5 and 1:27 in the other section while Expressive Gal and De Long vacated the pylons out of third heading to three-quarters. In the stretch Expressive Gal went by Help Cum Laude and then held off closers to the wire, winning by a quarter of a length in 1:56 3/5. Clear And Cool (Jordan Ross) angled out from off-the-pace in the lane and finished well for second, and Omg Am I Ok (Trace Tetrick) was up for third while in tight quarters.

A daughter of Pilot Discretion bred by Gerald Yoder, Expressive Gal was sent out by Missy Essig for owner Nathan Yoder. Expressive Gal has a summary of 2-2-3 from nine attempts, has pocketed $42,604 and returned $4.40 to win.
