Dashing Danny and Cs Flying Co-pilot returned to the winner's circle following the pair of $50,500 Indiana Sires Stakes races for 3-year-old colt and gelding trotters that took place on Thursday night at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
In the first tilt Dashing Danny (Kyle Wilfong) took the lead away from Musclefantastic (Robert Taylor) past the 27 4/5 opening quarter. From there, Dashing Danny, the 1-9 favorite, maintained the top spot through a soft 57 4/5 half and 1:27 1/5 three-quarters but was just able to hold off Musclefantastic, who angled out in the lane, by a head on the wire in a 1:54 2/5 mile. A Blue Million (Mike Peterson) checked in third.
Trainer Jeff Cullipher also co-owns Dashing Danny, a Dover Dan gelding bred by Steve Stewart and Black Creek Farm, with partner Pollack Racing LLC. Dashing Danny won for the 12th time from 21 starts, has pocketed $269,587 and paid $2.20 to win.

Cs Flying Co-pilot (Trace Tetrick) was third at the 27 1/5 quarter in the second section, but Tetrick put him in motion two-wide in the backstretch, and Cs Flying Co-pilot forged his way by Ira Who (Jared Finn) past the 57 second half. Cs Flying Co-pilot was clear at the 1:26 1/5 three-quarters and for most of the stretch drive, but Knowyoucando (Wilfong), who had a second-over trip, angled out and hit top stride inside the final eighth. Sensing that Knowyoucando was coming, Tetrick called on Cs Flying Co-pilot late in the mile, and he was able to keep Knowyoucando at bay by three-quarters of a length in 1:54 2/5. Flirtnwiththepilot (Peter Wrenn) was third.
A gelded son of Pilot Discretion, Cs Flying Co-pilot is trained by Doug Rideout for owners Flying Eagle Stable and Darin Miller. The John Stoll-bred has a summary of 7-7-1 from 25 efforts, has put away $126,820 and returned $8.20 to win.
