Harrah's Hoosier Park: Champions Night garners national television broadcast

Indiana Sire Stakes champions will be crowned on Friday, Oct. 9 at Harrah's Hoosier Park, with Indiana's best doing so under the national spotlight with FOX Sports 2 coverage from 8-11 p.m. (EDT).
With over $2.4 million on the line during the 15-race program, seven of the eight $250,000 Indiana Sire Stakes Super Finals for 2- and 3-year-olds in races 7-13 will be featured during the FOX Sports window. Vice President and General Manager of Racing, Gabe Prewitt, will be joined by Dave Weaver on-site to offer commentary to the national audience on the championship events which will feature to horses such as North America Cup champion Odds On Mr Mamba.

First post for the Hoosier Champions card is 5:30 p.m. (EDT) and will also include $70,000 Aged Sire Stakes Championships on the evening, featuring horses such as On To Norway, Little Rocket Man, and Can'ttouchthese.
Bettors will also have a buffet of wagering options throughout the evening with $65,000 worth of guaranteed pools to take aim at including:
Race 1 - $10,000 Pick 5
Race 2 - $10,000 Pick 4
Race 6 - $10,000 Pick 4
Race 8 - $10,000 Pick 5
Race 12 - $15,000 Pick 4
Race 15 - $10,000 Hoosier High 5
In addition to the Indiana Sire Stakes finals, $50,000 Indiana Sire Stakes consolations will make up the remainder of the Friday card. The remainder of the consolations will take place on Saturday, Oct. 10, in addition to the $70,000 Mare Trot Sire Stakes final, which will serve as a non-betting race prior to the Saturday program at 5:15 p.m. (EDT).
