Harrah's Hoosier Park: Call Me Goo tallies in Crossroads Of America
?q=100)
In the $115,000 Crossroads Of America for 3-year-old trotting fillies on Friday night at Harrah's Hoosier Park, driver Dexter Dunn guided Call Me Goo off a perfect cover trip to victory in 1:53 4/5 at the expense of 6-5 favorite Tactical Mounds.
When 2-1 second choice Mommamia Volo broke behind the gate, driver Dunn elected to follow Tactical Mounds from the second tier. Up front, Mass Hysteria took early control from Helpoftheseason, going the first quarter in 28 seconds flat before Helpoftheseason and Peter Wrenn made a second move to control. Rose Run Yolanda and Yannick Gingras were also spotted early with a tuck in third and elected to march to the front, taking control prior to the 56 3/5 opening half.
Scott Zeron took favored Tactical Mounds on a first-over journey, followed by Call Me Goo, just past the half and engaged the leader following the 1:25 three-quarters. Tactical Mounds wrested command in mid-stretch but had no answer when Dunn sent the daughter of Googoo Gaagaa wide and drove by to win handily. Tactical Mounds settled for second with Rose Run Yolanda third at the wire.

Owned by Graham Grace Stables LLC., Call Me Good was a winner for the 11th time this year in just 15 starts for trainer Jason Skinner. As a 7-2 offering she returned $9.80 to win.
"She's been a professional from day one," said Skinner, who will send Call Me Goo to Dover Downs for Thursday's (November 9) Matron Stakes.
