?q=100)
Aces And Cinches lowered his lifetime mark from 1:52 2/5 to 1:48 1/5 in an eye-catching victory in Friday night's lone $94,000 Indiana Sire Stakes event for 3-year-old male pacers at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
Driven by Kyle Wilfong, Aces And Cinches showed speed from the outside post six and cleared Dancingdreamer (Marcus Miller) for the lead nearing the 25 4/5 quarter. From there, Aces And Cinches maintained the top spot to the half in 53 3/5 and the three-quarters in 1:21 4/5 before he pulled away in a 26 2/5 final panel, winning by 4 1/2 lengths. Swiss Lights (Trace Tetrick), the 1-9 favorite, was no match for the winner after a first-over journey and wound up second, just getting past Dancingdreamer at the wire.
An Odds On Equuleus colt bred by Alpine Stables, Aces And Cinches was making his third start for trainer Ron Burke and owners Burke Racing Stable LLC., Weaver Bruscemi LLC., Frank Baldachino and Michael Rosenthal. The half-brother to Sabonis (1:47 3/5, $814,233) has a summary of 2-3-3 from 17 starts, has earned $93,400 and paid $11 to win as the 9-2 second choice.
