Harness: Zoccali to join DRF Harness writing team

Darin Zoccali, the former Meadowlands Director of Racing, will begin writing a bi-weekly column for DRF Harness starting this week.

In addition to his four-year stint heading racing operations at The Meadowlands, Zoccali has worked as a track announcer, contributed to the Down The Stretch radio show on Sirius XM, worked as an on-air analyst for The Meadowlands, and has written for Harness Racing Update. He is now Managing Key Accounts for the Northeast United States for TVG.

“We are thrilled that Darin is joining our team as he brings an interesting perspective having participated in many areas of the sport,” said Editor Derick Giwner.

Zoccali’s first column will be available on the DRF Harness Homepage later this week and cover takeout rates. He will also be filling in on DRF Harness Live covering racing from The Meadowlands this Saturday night starting at 6:35 p.m.
