Harness: Vanna By The River Supplements into the Jugette

The Our Three Sons Stable has paid the $15,000 supplement to add Vanna By The River to the 56th edition of the Jugette, to be contested Wednesday, September 23 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.

Vanna By The River enters the Jugette in sharp form, fresh off a runner-up finish in the $300,000 Ohio Sire Stakes Final on September 12, missing the victory by just half a length. The consistent daughter of Downbytheseaside—Sweet Ace has hit the board in 13 of 16 starts this season and boosted her career bankroll to $270,680. Her 1:50 lifetime mark was taken in the Independence Day leg of the OSS at Eldorado Scioto Downs.

Cory Stratton conditions the sophomore filly, who was purchased for $48,000 as a yearling at the Ohio Select Sale.

The remainder of the Jugette field will be finalized Sunday (Sept. 20) when the entry box closes.
