Harness: USHWA to live stream year-end divisional winners

The United States Harness Writers Association (USHWA) will present a live stream announcement of the 2018 divisional horse winners for both genders and gaits in conjunction with the United States Trotting Association (USTA) over a two-day period in mid-December.

On Wednesday (Dec. 19) the trotters will be revealed and on Thursday (Dec. 20) the pacers will be named. Both days the live stream broadcasts will begin at noon and will be carried on both the USHWA and USTA Face Book pages.

USTA Social Media and Public Relations coordinator Michael Carter will be the host of these programs.

Balloting for the equine divisional honors begins early this week.

The announcement of the Trotter, Pacer and Horse of the Year will once again be made at the conclusion of the 2019 Dan Patch Awards Banquet which will be held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida on Sunday (Feb. 24). There will be no advance announcement of these three winners.
