Harness: Top Ohio 2-year-old filly headed to Blooded Horse Sale

Owner/trainer Erv Miller is offering a rare opportunity to acquire at public auction the leading Ohio Sire Stakes point earner in the 2-year-old trotting filly division.

Uncle Peters Love sells in the Blooded Horse Sale, Springfield, Ohio on Tuesday, August 27 as supplemental Hip # 601, and will sell immediately after Hip # 226.

The filly from the Muscles Yankee mare Love Me Two Times, just won her last start on Wednesday (Aug. 21) at Scioto in 1:56 2/5f-’19 and won three of four legs in the lucrative program having already earned $65,144 this season.

Miller noted, “We don’t really race in Ohio that much, so she is being sold before the rich $300,000 final to raise yearling capital.

“She is a beautifully gaited and healthy filly and we invite all interested parties to come and take a close look at her at the sale. She will make someone a very nice race filly, and has excellent broodmare potential when her racing days are behind her.”

This is a great prospect because the successful purchaser can transfer her with the USTA at the sale on Tuesday (August 27) and drop her in the box under their ownership and trainer of choice the next morning for the Super Night final at Northfield on Sunday, Sept. 1.

And the earning potential does not end there.

Uncle Peters Love remains eligible for the Ohio Sire Stakes, Kindergarten (Meadowlands), Buckeye Stallion Series, Ohio Breeders Championship (Delaware, OH), International Stallion (Red Mile), and Goldsmith Maid (Meadowlands).
