Harness: Tim Tetrick reaches 9,000 career wins
USTA Photo Driver Tim Tetrick hopes he can keep coming back to Kentucky for "the next hundred years".
At just 34 years old, driver Tim Tetrick continues to climb the all-time wins leaderboard in harness racing. On Tuesday night at Dover Downs, the gifted pilot guided Duneside Chella to her 18th career victory and picked up number 9,000 for his career in the process.
The winning moment came just past 8:30 p.m. during the 14th race on the card. Tetrick and Duneside Chella held on to win by a neck in 1:53 3/5.
Twenty minutes later, Tetrick got started on his next thousand by capturing the 15th race with Bubbaslittlesister.
Tetrick currently sits in 18th place among the winningest drivers in history. Dave Palone leads the pack with 17,362.
